Lee's Hill Golf Club

I drove 1.5 hours to play here based on the reviews I read here and I was disappointed. The course was fine for a Muni but definitely not worth all the hype it get from other reviews. In fact, the course lulled me to sleep many times because it is boring and very short. Driver and wedges from the tips. The fairways and greens were fine, everything else in between was pretty banged up.

Greens were in good shape, there was sand in the bunkers and grass around the greens. Looked great!

Good course will play again.

I really enjoy this course. This was my home course for a while and would chose to play here more often than one of the courses closer to my home. This is a shot maker's course. A few blind shots, uphill and downhill shots. just a fun course. not overly long when you play from the correct set of tees. green are decent for the area. Augustine is always praised for how nice they are, but Lee's hill is in my opinion much better.

The course was in great condition during 4th of July holiday weekend! Nice tee boxes, well-kept fairways, and true-rolling greens contribute to this rating. The staff welcomed me with smiles and extras (non-member). This helped me to shoot a career low 77 on a fairly challenging course! Big ups to every staff member who I came in contact with. Given the location, I expected the opposite. Thank you Lee's Hill!!

This course is in outstanding condition. The greens were immaculate and the fairways and tees were in awesome shape as well. Short course, if your above average you will want to play from the back but the course is still challenging. Well worth the drive from Northern Va. Played here 15 years ago and loved it. Still today an awesome course

This is my "home course." I play there once a week in season.
The greens are great and fairways very good. I played Augustine last weekend and once last season and the greens were awful, by comparison. Lee's Hill is fairly flat, except for one hill, and I sometimes wish there was more contour, but it has enough water to keep it challenging. Good practice range. Simple clubhouse. I had one lesson last season and the pro correctly diagnosed my particular problem right away. It's 70 miles from D.C., so the greens fees are modest.
