Bordering the Indian River, Viera East Golf Club sprawls across a landscape of sparkling blue lakes and native marshland that is accented with towering pines and cypress trees. The well known layout is considered one of the best and most affordable public golf courses in Florida. The course features large, undulating greens that are carefully protected by numerous bunkers and risk-reward opportunities that will challenge even the lowest handicappers. Although the course offers a fairly formidable test, beginners will be comforted by the wide fairways that have ample bailout room. Viera East Golf Club's eighth and ninth holes are a memorable duo, beginning with a short par 4 that is the best birdie opportunity on the course. The ninth is another par 4 with water all along the left and trees along the right. Both holes are made even more challenging with strategic bunkering along the greensides.

All pretty good
Pace of play was slow— course in pretty good condition— nice staff.
Slow play
At 14th hole caught up to 7 guys playing together
Totally unacceptable for 7 people playing
We had wait long time and no one cared At clubhouse

Cold but awesome good round. Easy round for pars. Cant wait for next round there!!!
It’s good shape
Course is in good shape. Just a couple spots here and there were patchy on the fairways but didn’t affect play. Definitely not worth $70. Golfnow deal is the way to go.
New years eve
The course was in good shape, greens fast and true. Pace of play got worse as the day went.
Good greens, fairways and tee boxes Ok
Greens were overseeded a few weeks ago I believe. They are not as fast as a few weeks ago when I played. Fairways are a little bare here and there and tee boxes are below average. GREAT restaurant and food afterwards. Nice putting green, good driving range. New carts.
Little rough
Some of the greens on the front side had some issues. Looks like they may have some kind of damage. Considering it is winter and they had plenty of rain, the course is in fairly good shape.
Best course in the Melbourne area
It’s a great course. Only complaint is they don’t allow walkers at all and force people to pay for a golf cart.
Fast Greens
The course was in great shape and the greens were fast and true. I had to do a lot of defensive downhill putting. The food at the bar was great Overall, it was a great day.
