Good Times at Turtle Creek
Other than the tee boxes being in bad shape, we had a great time at Turtle Creek. The course has plenty of water and is narrow enough to be challenging.
Fun Track
This is a fun course to play, it’s shorter than most courses but it makes you play accurately or you’ll have a long day. The front 9 greens were in really bad shape with some bad/bare spots on them but the back 9 was fine. Last time I played here the front 9 was also in bad shape so it’s a little confusing why.
Greens and tee boxes bad
The greens have lots of damage. The tee boxes are rounded and damaged. Not worth $40.
Fairways, have been improving over the last year. Some greens have been in need of repair for at least 12 months. I will play it again.
Rough shape
There was very lit to le grass in the fairways and greens had been aerated recently but also in need of some full replacement in spots.
Course under repair
Greens are awful, tee boxes, especially ladies/red tees, are in bad shape, lots of dead grass in fairways. Overall very neglected condition. Too bad because it could be a great course. Layout is really good.
Greens a little rough.
Recent aeration made the greens bumpy.. Greens were kind of bare in some spots. Only played front nine so not sure about back. Loads of rain recently didnt help I'm sure. Staff is always friendly and accomadating. I enjoyed the round in spite of these things! Go play! Great course!
Has my attention
You must pay attention and play shots fairly straight here. Many tree lined, water lined, stream lined fairways. Play smart to avoid penalties. Greens are not severe but you have to pay attention on them. Grass in fairways tight but the ball flew well off them even considering dry conditions in the region. Challenging round of golf but very fair price. Played here before and will play again. Good value for golf ⛳️
Rain, Rain
It didn't rain it poured. After it stopped we were going to continue but the ranger came around and stopped us. He said we could play just not use the greens. We got rainchecks.
The course had been aeriated so it was reduced prices.
Played there many times and like the course just not in top condition now.
