I Know What to Expect (Friendly yet Professional)
Love Turtle Creek Golf Course in Rockledge Florida. Definitely worth a play I think you will love it as I have maybe see you there...
Extremely slow
Course was extremely slow. No carts available and had to wait. By the time we got a cart, a foursome started ahead of us although their time was after. Waited at every hole. Fairways are not in good shape. Definitely not worth the money. Seems the course has decided to overbook every tee time.
slow greens
have played this course several times with great greens conditions, but today they were unusually slow. Maybe it was due to weather conditions. Otherwise the entire course was in great shape.
We were very pleased
We really appreciated the courses and the staff were all very nice. We were 6 players and all enjoyed their day. Thanks again to all employees.
Im left Disappointed
First time playing here. Seemed like the staff assumed I knew where everything was. Signage wasn't clear. Fairways are in very bad condition. Lots of trees. Lots of water.
Sunny Day At Turtle Creek
Just arrived to Florida from Toronto area and found a hot deal for today. Always a tough course to score well with water on every hole but the first. Don’t get fooled by the course length. Very tight fairways. The fairways has never been lush from what I remembered, but decent enough. Greens are in average good shape. I used the water range to warm up, as it’s been over 3 months since I’ve played any golf. Got busier approaching noon, but moving ok, and everyone seem to moving along. I play here once /twice a week while visiting and will continue to do so. Good value for golfing, and definitely challenging at any level! I’ve been a 4-7 hdcp over the years and today, got beat up. But it’s ok for the first game of the year.
Walkable
The first time I played was a crowded weekend. Pace was still good and course is very walkable.
Don’t expect to play at your tee time
I made a tee time only to be told there were too many people that had come out and I would likely need to wait 45 minutes to an hour to play. I specifically made the tee time when I did because I had a business dinner I had to be at.
The starter did not want to help me get joined with anyone, I had to go ask players myself if I could join them. I did ask a theesome only to be told they were expecting a fourth, and when the fourth never showed they would not allow me to join and the starter did nothing. All I can say is between the starter and the regulars there, nothing but rude rude rude. In addition, the course was in poor condition. I would never recommend this course to anyone.
Worth a Look
This course is reasonably priced and offers a nice round of golf for all ages. A couple of the greens/fairways were spotty and a bit rough (winter!), but, no worse than most other courses in the area. The greens were average speed, traps well groomed, fairways cut right and the tee blocks were good. This course requires carrying a few extra balls, as there is ample water to swallow them up and woodsy areas that steal them, too. The club house offers some of the best food in the area, drinks are good and all are fair priced. Certainly a course 'worth a look'.
Conditions
If you enjoy hard pan or mud with no grass... you’ll love these fairways!! This course is in terrible shape! I will never return!!
Nice day
Course is in good shape. This is a 3-3.5 Star course. Decent and fun, a few challenging holes. Nothing to complain about, just not the Taj Mahal
