Hesperia Golf & Country Club

The front side had a couple of holes where the fairways were washed out with sand. Lot of rain recently so thats probably why. Definitely need to keep it in the fairway or you're into some sandy hard pan. Thought the back side was in better shape. It was a windy day so hit a lot of punch and runs. The greens were firm and rolled true. Clubhouse has a lot of photos showing the history of the course. Challenging for sure.

Greens are looking really good and course it’s self is not bad, green keepers have been doing a lot of maintenance work. Looking Good!!

Many downed trees need to be cleared away out of sight. Bunkers packed down because they are mostly dirt, not sandy at all. Dead trees from beetles (or mistletoe) that are still standing are not a good look. Hopefully they will be cut down and removed. Why is there no water in the lakes?

Greens are in very good shape. Rough length is reasonable . At the end of the day it is still a classic golf course worth playing but it is just looking rough around the edges.

Was delayed 2 hrs for a frost delay. Not too sure why there are even tee times available knowing what the weather will be. Hole 3 was in horrible condition.

Frost delay set us back. Not their fault. Course was good and in good shape. Pin placement was tough. Greens were very challenging. I would play there again. The location makes it tough to get to and especially driving back down the “hill”. If you like trees, than this is the course for you.

I can see how this course would be pretty nice if the conditions were good and maybe in spring when the trees are green but the whole course just looked depressing right now. For he tee boxes most in pretty rough condition, the fairways a mix of some decent to some very bad, the only bright side were the green were in pretty good shape. Bunkers were also very bad. The driving range was hitting into a hillside of dirt. The layout was good but I would be the conditions to be much much better for me to return to this course.

I was 45 mins behind for my tee time… I was suppose to start at noon and didn’t get started till 1pm cause of shortage on carts

50 degrees out and the course was in excellent condition, grounds crew have done a lot maintenance and cleanup, course is looking better all the time!

We play there often. Great value not crowded on the weekdays.

I’ve played a lot of courses and i still believe this is the best course around, it’s like a Diamond In The Rough!
