About
Spanish Trail Country Club is a 27-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Founded in 1984, the club is one of the oldest in Las Vegas. The holes are divided into three nines, which can be played in different 18-hole combinations. The Canyon/Lakes Course is the longest of the three combinations and it begins with the most difficult of the nines. The Canyon is a desert-style course with a final stretch of holes that will test even the best players. The seventh through ninth holes feature a bevy of hazards, ending with an elevated green surrounded by cavernous bunkers. As you could have guessed from the name, the back nine, the Lakes, has water coming into play on six holes. Due to the fast and undulating greens throughout the entire golf course, accuracy on your approaches is key.

A Diamond in the Desert
Absolutely one of the finest courses in Las Vegas. Tee times are spaced 20 minutes apart....we rarely saw the group in front or behind us. We played the Lakes and the Sunrise nines. Oh yeah, get yourself a yardage book, as there are some blind tee shots where water is in play.
A stunning golf course.
Plays up to 7200 yards and VERY fast greens. Conditions are great (seasonal) and the only drawback could be the fact it's a planted golf course and there can be some skill required from the rough on some holes (intentional). Absolutely my favorite course in Vegas (that I can afford).
Beautiful, well layed out course.
Course is beautiful, both challenging and forgiving. Course is a little spendy, look for deals. Recommend playing without wind. Have played with and without. Much more enjoyable and managable without.
What you would expect playing at a Country Club
Top class facility..
nice practice area, well taken of greens, beautiful views of Red Rock Canyon and nice club house.
Loved the trueness of the greens
Had a great time. could relax and just play without feeling rushed. Could hit all the practice balls you wanted and they had a nice range.
Very pleasant experience.
Staff was very nice and informative. Tee time was prompt and the pace of play was appropriate.
Spanish Trail Canyon to Lakes Course
I love this course and it was in great condition for this time of year. Last Minute Golfer got me a good rate however if I had booked it an hour later I would have saved another $4. Once I got to the course I was told there was a $5 fee for the GPS and water bottles on the cart. All in all not a bad day.
Sunrise/canyon
Played Spanish trail and loved it. Staff were very friendly, the course and view were amazing. The canyon was a bit dry but im sure another week or 2 it would look as amazing as the sunrise 9.
