Lakes/Sunrise at Spanish Trail Country Club

If you are visiting I highly recommend this course to play!!!

very challenging.. the greens were sloped back to front and very fast if were above the hole.

Course was in good shape. I played in a Hot deal so it was extremely busy at the time I played. At the turn it was jammed. Only thing that saved my foursome was a resident in our group took us to a different 9 holes than we were supposed to play. The starter did not want us too play that 9 but the guy was a resident so not much he could do. There were two foursomes on the tee box at the turn in front of us waiting on a foursome and none of them were the group we had been playing behind on our front 9.

A beautiful course, that is forgivingyet s very unique challenge. I’ll play it again

Lush fairways, great greens and even green rough in Vegas in spring.

Grass in good condition, fairways better and greens are top notch.

Too much water in play on the Lakes nine and the greens were very spotty

Pacee was slow, foursome ahead of us seemed to be struggling, at the turn our foursome let the single behind us join in to slow us up. We easily kept pace with the group ahead. Pace of play was 4:40.

I played this course 9 days before and loved the track but trashed the condition of the course. This round, playing the same 18 of the 27, it was SUBSTANTIALLY better. First and foremost the bird droppings were largely gone and so not an issue... the piles of debris were diminished so there was not the extent of blow-by over the playing areas. The traps were pretty, but the bottoms of the traps were clay with very little sand on top... a normal sand out does not work... have to punch it and hope... staff was excellent and although we waited (3 on 1 for the last 3) playing time was exactly 4 hours, so they weren't slow, we were quick. I would play it again and recommend it.
