We do apologize that this incident occurred and we wish there was more that we could do for you. Golfers aren't usually responsible for their errant shots unless it was done with malicious intent. I have sat through several court proceedings and the outcome on this is always the same. Judge will state something along the lines of, the golfer i feel is morally responsible for his shots but he is unfortunately not legally responsible, unless of course he did it with intent to cause harm or damage (malicious intent). That is very difficult if not impossible to prove.

As far as you living on a golf course, a simple browsing of your CC&R's and you will find a section on this exact issue under Easements for Golf Course. 13.7 - reads as follows as it pertains to your particular issue with the golf course operating under impunity, Under no circumstances shall any of the following persons be held liable for any damage or injury resulting from errant golf balls or the exercise of this easement: the Declarant; the association or its members (in their capacities as such): Rhodes Ranch Limited Partnership, its successors, successors-in-title to the golf course and so on....We aren't trying to put blame or anything on you, but if you moved onto to an established golf course, their are a few assumed liabilities. Golf balls being one of them. 

We will not be threatened by someone who simply did not do his just diligence. Several homeowners have protected their home with a simple net or even upgraded their windows with higher impact resistant glass, hurricane glass is a popular choice.

Wow! We appreciate that and will pass the kind words up to our superintendent!

Ouch! We sometimes wish we could discriminate against poor etiquette and bad play, but we do prefer to encourage golfers of all types to play golf as much as possible. Get lessons and practice more.

This statement is somewhat true! We don’t allow the GolfNow hot deals go out separately from the other hot deals! The reason this hot deal went out alone is probably because he was harassing the starter endlessly! The group that went ahead of him was a group of PGA pros, and there tee time was a suggestion of when they all arrived! The starter may have misspoke but if your tee time is 1pm and you tee off at 1pm? That’s actually a good thing! Since you refused to play with the other paired players, we won’t be missing your play!

I feel you have us confused with another course? We are great shap, especially in comparison to other courses at the same rate and quality! A course still being green just days ahead of aver seeding is a diamond in the rough! We have so many happy golfers! Maybe you would like to actually call us and tell us your real complaint! Because everything you listed is just not true, including the range balls! I’ll give you the carts though, the Yamaha golf cart just didn’t survive the length of the lease, especially those seats!

That starter no longer works here! Most people bring their own golf towel? Water bottles are $2 each? Alcohol, its a beverage cart, we are cheaper than our competition. The seats were a result of yamaha golf carts use of cheap materials and they offered us no solution, so we are replacing them in November with Club Car, which will also have GPS units as well. The seat thing is a thorn in our side and we tried many different ways to repair and nothing lasted. The greens are still in good shape today, we are even closer to our annual overseed mode than your round, I feel that is an attempt to find fault with an otherwise great conditioned course that is far superior than our competition.

We apologize our policy isn't inline with your beliefs. We have had this policy for a few years and it has helped us maintain a consistent tee sheet. Sometimes golfers slip through the cracks. I will definately check the cameras and if they were in fact on their phones, they will be reprimanded appropriately. Unfortunately that is where your complaint seems to fall flat on exageration, while the range does get more use than your local muni, i was hitting balls yesterday off of the green plush grass. The course is definately in better shape than any public course in vegas for under $300 a round, how much did you pay, $50. I'm sorry you left the property without even stopping in the Pro Shop to address your concerns? seems like a poor financial decision on your part. You missed out on one the most popular courses in Vegas.

This will be easy to clear up, just bring your receipt by to the golf shop and show that you paid for every golfer in your tee time. We do charge for no shows if 3/4 golfers show up, you are still resposible for that fourth golfer. You can email me or stop by.
