Hidden in the folds of the Southern Nevada desert is the lush oasis of Rhodes Ranch Golf Club. The abundance and variety of water features characterize the golf course. Ponds and lakes come into play frequently. There are also mature palms lining the gently rolling fairways and generous greens. The club is known for the immaculate maintenance of the verdant tropical landscape. The course is player-friendly while at the same time offering Las Vegas golfers some unexpected challenges. The layout boasts a set of four impressive par 3s including the scenic third hole, which requires a tee shot over a pond. The designer, Ted Robinson, touted the holes as the best he's ever designed. Rolling mounds and strategic bunkering as well as the occasional multi-tiered green make the golf course more difficult, but there are wide fairways and ample landing areas to provide a balance. The playability of the course combined with the reasonable rates, especially for Las Vegas golf, has earned the club a popular following.

Cart Service

Don’t know who scheduled the beverage cart to start at 10 but not good when it’s 90 degrees out at that time. Never seen a beverage cart on the front 9 and 2 times on the back 9, course was in grate shape but it the little things that make a difference.

Enjoyed the course

Very much enjoyed the round of golf. Very much liked the layout of the course. My partner is new to golf and it didn’t beat him up. Very playable course. Course superintendent is doing a great job on the course conditions. Played the round in just over 4 hours. I will recommend the course.

First Time @ Rhodes Ranch

May be my first visit to Rhodes Ranch, but won't be my last. Some of the greens had numerous ball marks on them, that is from players not necessarily the greenskeepers fault. Other than that the course played very well, pace was superb, and had a wonderful day out on the links. Cloud cover kept it cooler for late May and the winds picked up near the end of the round but overall the course, staff, and value was fantastic!

Bear’s Best meets the test

What's with the Cart Keys?

So, We arrived on time but the starter wouldn't give us a key to cart stating that we need to sign for the cart and they didn't want cars driving around. This is ridiculous. There is a common thread with all courses overselling the course and then you are waiting.
