Casablanca Resort & Casino
About
Casablanca Resort & Casino is located an just an hour north of Las Vegas. In addition to being Mesquite's most popular entertainment venues, it also has an 18-hole golf course that appeals to golfers of all skill levels. The course sprawls across rolling terrain that gives it provides challenging ups and downs on every hole. Water and strategically placed bunkers come into play throughout. The layout begins with a downhill par 4 that is fairly straightforward, giving a good chance at par or better. In contrast, the par-4 fifth hole is the golf course's no. 1 handicap hole. Long drivers aiming too closely to the lateral hazard stakes risk a penalty on this long and deceptive hole since the hazard comes into play more than it appears. Play it smart by aiming to the left of the green or you'll face the bunkers on the right side.

Overseeding
I was the last one out before they closed down for overseeding. Course is in rough shape. Some temp greens. Fairways are decent.. Nice course when the maintenance is done .
Great course for the money, very scenic
I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this course is. Most fairways are wide and easy to hit, however there are a few tricky ones and a few tough par 3's. I really love the landscape of the course and the scenic views while playing.
I do have an issue though, it is the bad bunkers. It is dirt, not sand. I brought this up to the people in the club house, and they agreed. They said because they have to water son much it gets compacted. That is not true, sand is different than dirt.
Overall I really liked playing here and cannot wait to come back.

A surprising change of pace in Mesquite
My previous rounds of golf in Mesquite have been at the wild and wonderful Wolf Creek.
Imagine my surprise when we pulled into the parking lot at Casablanca. The layout is Wolf Creek's tamer alter ego. It's flat and playable with the traditional look of grass, ponds and bunkers. It's a breath of fresh air, frankly, from the rocks and intimidating looks of Wolf Creek.
I thoroughly enjoyed the round. The opening holes are easy but interesting enough. Then things get tough with longer holes and water. It's a nice flow.
CasablAnca golf
Very nice golf course enjoyed playing We were joined with two other fellows fun guys to play with. The rough was tough to hit out of but that’s golf. Greens look like they had just been top dressed so were slow. Otherwise course good to play
Full Disclosure Please
Layout is good. Beautiful views. I know they are going to close for overseeding in a few days but so are all the other courses in Mesquite. Definitely the worst conditions in the area, we played every course this week. Please let us know the conditions are poor when we book. We are going to find out!! Would like to play again when conditions are good. Rates should reflect conditions!
“Casa”
First time I’ve played here since 2004 (moved to Atlanta). Course is in FANTASTIC shape since then. Greens well maintained, as is the rest of the course. You folks have done a TERRIFIC job bringing this facility back to what it should be! Thanks.
CasaBlanca
A great layout. Greens very good for such hot weather. Staff very friendly.
Only takes one
Booked late morning round for the price. Found out at course they would be shutting down @ 2:30pm. Whole round was rushed, but the course was open. Then ran in to an extremely slow foursome at the turn and golf game took turn for the worst. Like the course but would have booked earlier time if known about course closing early.
Casablanca- A must play course
This course is a great course. A little challenge here and there and a moderate challenge here and there. It is a great course for both beginners at the front tee box and the advanced at the third and tips tee boxes. The greens were fast, fairways perfect and the rough was a little challenging on some holes. All in all a great course to paly in Mesquite NV.
We paly there every year we go to Mesquite.
Ok golf for dollar
This course is nothing special. Very flat easy layout. If you are looking for golf at a lower price in Mesquite this is place. If you are looking for a golf experience. Go somewhere else
A great day
Casa Blanca is one of 8 courses in Mesquite Nev. If played from the back tees provides a challenge for any player. It is over 7000 yards. From the white plays 6200. Lots of water holes, but only a couple of forced carries. A great variety of potential birdie holes and those with a harder challenge, where par is a great score. Fun to play! Lots of Geese, Quail and bunnies to keep your attention while waiting to play. We chose a 12:30 tee time, but got out at noon. Barely finished 18 at dark. If you book an earlier time, pace of place is much better. But during the winter months, it can be cold! Mesquite runs about 5 degrees warmer than St. George
Very poor customer service
The outside staff were very rude and condescending. Lacking in customer service skills for sure! The lady on the beverage cart was the only friendly face we saw.... we won't be back
Pace of play
Was terrible! 5 hrs to complete 18 holes!
great track
We got a hot deal for this course and it was a great course to play. Course is in excellent condition except for the sand traps which needed a little work. This course gives you a good challenge and is designed so you have a little room for errant shots. The beautiful mountain scenery adds a lot to the whole round!
great views from each hole
was a great course to play. they had just finished overseeding so it was cart path only but course is flat so it was not a problem
Speed golf without the fun........
Fourth time playing Casablanca golf course, and by far the worst conditions. I realize that it is mid July in mesquite, but having just played 4 rounds in Scottsdale, where the course conditions under similar weather were in good shape I was very disappointed. Had to play the round in under 2.5 hours because they closed at 230pm. Several fairways were closed to cart so had to run to ball then back to cart. All fairways and rough were aerated which sucked. The bunkers were hard packed sand but the greens were watered and puttable.
I suggest golf elsewhere this time of year.
A different experience in Mesquite...
We were staying at the Casablanca on our recent golf trip, which was our second time in Mesquite for our annual tournament which has gone all over the US. Conestoga which was our preferred course had an outing so we played the Casablanca, which was a great rate and value.
The course kind of reminds me more of some of the middle of the road Scottsdale courses, desert, some houses, relatively flat, etc more than the courses I have played in Mesquite, most of them seemed to have the elevation changes and a lot of rock formation hillside golfing where Casablanca is more your flat desert course.
Its a solid course if I were doing a trip/tournament and it was part of the rotation, I would lead off with it as playing it after WC was a little of a letdown shall we say, but its certainly a track that if it were on its own somewhere would get probably a little more love.
