About
Named after the springs that snake through the layout, Delaware Springs Golf Course is a scenic links-style track that is one of the better values in Texas golf. The low prices and friendly service, combined with a picturesque and challenging golf course, make this a Hill Country favorite.
Architects Dave Axland and Dan Proctor built a natural-looking course that fits the terrain perfectly. The course is nestled into the rolling hills and oak trees along the Highland Lakes, playing 6,891 yards from the tips. During your round you’ll encounter lush fairways frequently loaded with bunkers, large greens that slope severely, and numerous bump and run shots. The designers added a few original touches, such as the descriptive Scottish names for each hole (the 18th is called "Hame" for the home hole).
Another interesting design twist involved placing the signature hole as the opener. Playing 504 yards to a par 5, no. 1 is best attacked with an iron into the left side of a sloping, tree-lined fairway. The creek cuts into the landing area, making it a testy tee shot. The second shot must bend around the dogleg to the left and over the creek, and the approach is into the green shaded by large trees on the right.

Best value around Austin!
Course is always in great shape and staff is always friendly. Pace of play could improve, but still not the worst. Overall it's a bargain and worth the drive!!

Nice day on the course! Short rain delay (15 mins), but otherwise beautiful. Nice layout. Greens and fairways were in great shape. Nice pro shop and snack bar had reasonable prices. Overall great experience!

Beautiful greens
Love this course. Greens are beautiful and worth the money. Got lucky our tee time was able to split up so we could play with our friends. Great pace for a busy MDW weekend. Highly recommend!

Great Course!
Best so far that I have played since coming to Austin/ Georgetown! Layout is fun and challenging from the tips. Greens were Fantastic, true when they are being read, Traps were great too! I’ll be back! The staff was great, friendly and very helpful! Play was steady and there was a tournament in front of us, but pace was fine.

Hidden Gem in Burnet
I always enjoy playing this little gem in Burnet. They have some of the best green in the area and the fairway/tee boxes are usually in good condition. It has some easy holes and several difficult holes to challenge the average golfer. Pace of play can be an issue as it was with us having a 5-some in front of us. That shouldn't be allowed during the middle of the day. Concessions are good and fairly priced. Their driving range is just ok since the hitting station are on a slope for about half of it. The practice putting and chipping area are great. Carts are always clean. Highly recommend playing it but don't spread it around too much haha
