About
Named after the springs that snake through the layout, Delaware Springs Golf Course is a scenic links-style track that is one of the better values in Texas golf. The low prices and friendly service, combined with a picturesque and challenging golf course, make this a Hill Country favorite.
Architects Dave Axland and Dan Proctor built a natural-looking course that fits the terrain perfectly. The course is nestled into the rolling hills and oak trees along the Highland Lakes, playing 6,891 yards from the tips. During your round you’ll encounter lush fairways frequently loaded with bunkers, large greens that slope severely, and numerous bump and run shots. The designers added a few original touches, such as the descriptive Scottish names for each hole (the 18th is called "Hame" for the home hole).
Another interesting design twist involved placing the signature hole as the opener. Playing 504 yards to a par 5, no. 1 is best attacked with an iron into the left side of a sloping, tree-lined fairway. The creek cuts into the landing area, making it a testy tee shot. The second shot must bend around the dogleg to the left and over the creek, and the approach is into the green shaded by large trees on the right.

Great course
Course was in great shape. Greens were a bit slow due to aeration but that said once they are back to 100% they will be awesome.
Great exerience
This is a hidden gem. It’s reachable from the DFW metroplex, but feels like it is in the country. It was an all-round good experience. The cart was VERY nice; one of the most comfortable I’ve ever been in, and not sluggish. The greens andfairways were good, the layout requires shotmaking, and the staff was among the friendliest I’ve experienced. I will DEFINITELY come back.
Pleasantly surprised.
Wasn’t expecting much from a public Golf course but it was Awesome!! Extremely well kept, beautiful course. The views in the evening made up for my lack of performance on the course.
I will for sure be back, I’m in love with this golf course.
Lovely
Course and the greens were in great shape. Having the second tee time, we played in under 4 hours.
Delaware Springs
Awesome course in great condition. Excellent greens, smooth with god speed. First time playing so I used my bushnell gps app for hole layout, as there are a few blind shots and some water that you have to layup off the tee. Great for all skill levels as the fairways are pretty generous.
One of the best
This has to be one of the best courses out there and the greens are not very forgiving. You have to place your shot. If you go there thinking you’re gonna overpower the course you can easily shoot a 90 you have to be strategic.

Course is always in great shape!!! Having driving to play Delaware Springs since 2009. It’s never disappointed. Staff is always friendly and welcoming as well.
Food in snack bar is delicious also
