Elks Run Golf Club

Elks Run is a very good golf course, but the pace of play is awful. If you can handle a 5+ hour round go for it.

Took 4.5 hours to play 13 holes thanks to two 5 some a in front of us. Absolute joke to allow that to happen. Walked off course after 13 or we may have played a 6+hours. Must police slow play but course was in nice shape

Great course, lots of elevation changes. Some of the t boxes were a little beat up. Will definitely play again.

A fun course to play. Back 9 especially has some difficult holes. A good challenge for all players.

The course is in great shape. It is a great course for all levels as it is challenging from the back tees but very playable from the front tees. Due to its popularity, the pace of play was rather slow. Overall - highly recommended.

Excellent Course. Played it quite often while living in Cincinnati. Played just as I remembered it challenging but fair. Pace of play was great. Played as a single and was between several foursomes but still finished in 4 hours with little waiting on the tee box. Well worth the trip down from Detroit.

Rough is thick and greens are never flat. A very fun course.

Greens and fairways in great shape, Greens are smooth and quick.

Very tough rough, great greens, front side is a super layout with generous fairways. Greens generally large and receptive with many elevated and very well bunkered. This Norman design course would be a tough walk. Backside has a 5 hole stretch that is very tight off the tee and can be punitive with tall trees and a rambling creek penalizing the wayward shot. Shot 82 with two triples resulting from wayward drives. Overall I loved the course and will play again this season.

Staff was great. Course was very nice with a good pace of play. However distances markers were hard to find and the course could be marked a little better

Course was in good shape and was not crowded. Will play again.

Love playing Elks. This is a fairly tough course, but always in the best of conditions.

The course was well taken care of. Sand traps were not groomed but it rained the few days before. Greens were great, fairways were great. Lots of people on the course. 5.5 hours to play 18. Scored right at my handicap so I feel it is appropriately challenging. It has several water features and you will use every club in your bag. I will play this course again for sure. I'll also try to get one of the first tee times so I'm not stuck behind people.

Wow a great value and the par threes are very long. Course in very nice condition and back nine is much tighter than front .

Are you kidding me ! played 18 for $22.00 and change through GolfNow. I used to bow hunt this property before it became a gc so I know the terrain. Awesome course the front 9 gets you ready for the back, better have your straight stroke by then or it will be a long day. The elevated tees are way up there great views!!
Granted it's November in Ohio but 53 and sunny this past Sunday I'll take it. Been playing since it opened great course you will not be disappointed . PT

I know it is fall and I also understand that greens are aerated and dressed this time of year. However these green were absolutely terrible. There was so much sand on them that hitting a true putt was out of the question. They need to let every paying customer know that the greens are near unplayable and prices need to be cut in half. The course is very pretty and the layout is nice but the greens ruined the trip for me.

Fun course to play, you plays some holes from the mountains, very cool to watch your ball float in the air for 10 seconds.

I thought the course was in fantastic shape especially for this time of year. This course has a little bit of everything to it, an a wonderful layout. Would definitely recommend this course to anyone. The cost was great as well.

Everything about this course was awesome! The layout is challenging and beautiful. The staff was great, the guys cutting the grass kept waving and nodding as they passed by on the course. The course was in excellent shape, despite having six straight days of rain before I played. There is an good mix of open and tight holes. There are great holes for driving as well as the occasional dogleg par 4 that will challenge your bag. There is a good amount of difference between the front and back 9, which is awesome. It really does feel like two very distinct sets of nine holes. I have absolutely zero complaints and nothing but praise for this course. I loved every minute of my experience.

Went to Elks Run for the second time and really enjoyed it again. Nice layout and course was in good condition, considering all the rain we had recently. Nice fairways and greens and friendly staff. Will be back again to play.
