Elks Run Golf Club

The course was in good condition. We went off very early so no pace of play issues. For a weekend rate of almost $90, I’d expect sand to be in bunkers and overall better bunker conditions.

For a $90 course there should not be grass in the bunkers and burnt spots on the green. The greens are heavily spotted from ball marks. The grounds crew needs to do better. This course is played a lot but they need to keep up with maintenance.

We started on the back which was a challenge having not played here in over 10 years. The greens and layout on the back require local knowledge to play well. The front 9 is as enjoyable as it gets, enough challenge with some great shot values.

This is a really fun course with great hole layouts and views. Overall the course was in excellent condition, there were a few bunkers that you could see needed some work, luckily they were marked that they were about to get fixed. This course offers your many holes with interesting teeing off spots with hitting out into a valley, or there on par 3 hole, tucked away in the hill side. The normal going rate for this course is $65 if you booked threw them, and I feel the course and amenities are worth it. Especially having the carts they have, very nice and comfortable. I will definitely come back and play again.

Rather play at Elks Run than any other course in Cincinnati.

Still can’t figure out why the bunkers are in such poor condition. Weeds growing in almost every one of them.

You can see where the budget can't maintain the course anymore. The bunkers ate now basically unplayable. There was no sand and they hadn't been dragged, just mud sitting at the bottoms. The greens were beat up, and it didn't look like anyone really moves the flags or tees to preserve the course.

Still a layout I enjoy, staff is terrific, food is great.

Love this course and it will be worth $89 when the greens and sand traps receive more care.

The course was well kept and had interesting elevation change. Greens are very quick which made them a good challenge. But the pace of play is the absolutely the worst I have ever experienced. It took 3 1/2 hrs to complete 9 holes, 10-15 mins to tee off on each hole.

Was a good course, but I paid over $65 for 18, was charged another $8 for a small bucket and then 6 beers was $24! Would like to see a place like this give you range balls at least. For the overall cost I was close to paying that of Stonelick Hills which is top 5 for the state and 15minutes away from here. They give you range included which is great perk

This course has an excellent layout.

The day we played greens were very fast and smooth.

Unfortunately, most of the bunkers were in terrible shape with toughs of grass poking up through the sand.

Given the $50 rate for a weekday senior, it was not a very good value.
