Coyote Creek Golf Club - The Tournament Course

Nice layout with plenty of variety. The wind was up, probably 2 clubs added a nice challenge. I don't remember putting on greens this smooth & straight forward to read. Would definitely play this course again, there was a learning curve.

We played in 3 1/2 hours. When was the last time you played a round of golf in that time frame. We were never pushed, the weather was perfect and fairways and greens were in great shape. The fairways are wide enough to spray a little if if you miss. The course is very challenging because its play long but fair. I have played many times and continue to return because I enjoy the challenge.

Not an easy course but if you can manage to stay out of the native areas you'll have a decent round. And if not at least you got to play on an awesome course designed by Jack

I always enjoy playing at either of the 2courses here, but most of the time it is out of my budget! Golf Now, at times, has some great rates that I took advantage of on this day!

I just want to say that that course was a little crowded but I was one of my best day at that course.

Course in very good condition. No waiting time at tee boxes. Sunny but windy and challenging. Excellent fish tacos at bar/restaurant.

I originally played this course often 7 years ago, but 5 years ago they lost their greens. The new maintenance staff has brought the course back over the last couple of years, and the rains this year helped their cause. This is a fun and challenging course!

I do love this course with its challenges but waiting at every shot can kill your game and make the experiance tiresome. I believe they just overbook this course and most people play from the wrong tees.....know your ability and everyone has a better time

too windy to have enjoyable round. I will not be playing here again in the afternoon

Great conditions thanks to the rains last winter. Tournament course is a ball eater if you go offline. Very fun and challenging.

course was in great shape,but picked a day were it was very windy, very tough course when the wind picks up!little expensive for twilight time 65$ @ 2.10 t off! my only complaint was the cart beginning to die @ 15th hole,( had to push quite a number of times)holding up golfers behind us)by the time we got to 18th completely dead( had to push from t-box to front of clubhouse) not just ours seen many other golfers same problem! (management needs to look into this obiviously not getting a full charge) my fault i should of complained @ 15th hole but we just wanted to finish the round !

I've played this course a couple of times before and enjoy the layout. I''m from the east coast and have enjoyed my previous rounds here. The course is in good condition and a pleasure to play. My issue this time is they sent me out as a single, saying the course is wide open. I hit some range balls and practiced putting and grabbed a sandwich Before my round (the service was very good), when I got to the first tee there was a foursome teeing off...no problem, I could use some more practice putting...I waited about 20 munites before I hit my first drive and soon enough I was waiting on every next hole. I didn't see any ranger and the group didn't let me play through. No worries, I can work on my game and hit a few extra shots...but by the 9th hole, I couldn't take it anymore and jumped ahead of the group. I didn't see another group until the 17 the hole. Obviously the group should have let me play through, but that is what a ranger is for.

I would play this course again if the price is right, but they should really have a ranger out on the course.

With all the rain in the area lately It was surprising that there were only a few really wet spots on the course. For a mountain course it drains pretty well. Because of the excess rain the rough was not cut over the last few days and was very high. My golf partners could not seem to keep it on the fairway, so were in a lot of trouble. Even worst for them was hitting it into the extremely high gorse that surrounds the golf course once off the fairway or rough. That said, except for the fact that the website did not reveal the greens being aerated 12 days ago, the course was in excellent condition. last year this course rebuilt all the sand traps and they are still in excellent shape, in spite of the heavy winter rains.

Golfnow likely knew this about aeration, but it was not revealed until I reached the clubhouse. Sooo, you deal with it. probably why the round was so incredibly cheap. Normally the Valley course is less than the tournament course. I had my suspicions.

Still glad I played the course.
