Gorgeous conditions year round. This place is extremely slept on

2nd time here. Shotgun start due to cold weather mornings in the Valley this year.Liked almost everything about the course. As a 14-16 handicapper I should have played the silver gold combo not just silver-my bad. Tees & fairways awesome c/w nasty greens that almost always break towards Indio. The wind adding to the already long play I shot an extra 5 to my normal score..Holes 10-12 quite interesting especially the huge elevation drop and ravine components on #11 the #1 handicap hole.. Yes play this course but on the correct tees.

Well worth the extra drive to the far end of the valley - nice layout, great conditions, beautiful views and very good value for your $$, thanks to Golf Pass.

Just want to begin by saying this is one of the best courses in the desert. Amazing conditions, but the wind can be a nightmare, but it’s worth it on a non windy day. Amazing course. The staff was not friendly at. First off nobody was there and I asked one questioned and they acted liked it was the end of the world. Also when booking on GolfNow I thought I made a tee time. The starter in the pro shop said to me, “ are you signed up for the shotgun at 12:30pm” I said no I made a tee time. He precedes to tell me that I am signed up for the shotgun and everyone who had made tee times through GolfNow was very confused by this as well. Also shotgun starts are for huge groups of people. There was maybe 6 or 7 groups that went out, so if this is how the course sets up tee times for non members this would be a turn off for me personally.

We called the clubhouse from the first hole and asked if there was any way to get a rain check, as it was so windy we were pretty much being blown off the tee box and it was extremely chilly! They said no, because we had already booked and paid for it online. That seemed like a pretty lame excuse for not giving us a rain check. We played 9 holes, because we felt if we paid for it, we should play it. After 9 holes we gave up and went home. It was the worst golf experience we have ever had Desert Hot Springs and we won't be back. Extremely disappointing!

Staff is extremely rude. Booked a 1:30 tee time and insisted that they close at 4:30 and all carts had to be in by then. Talked them into letting us play until 5:00 after a very rude interaction with the manager (Dave)Not possible to play 18 holes in 3 1/2 hours.

We had a very sunny but very windy day but playing this course made our day,

Tee boxes, fairways, sand traps were all very well tended. The course is both wide open (good for beginners) and target focused (good for more advanced players.

We completed a round in less than four hours. It is March, so there was wind but not unplayable… it just added to the enjoyable difficulty and made me think more about club distances. I scored just under 90, normal for me.

Played it for the first time and while a bit off the beaten path it was fun to play.

The pace of play was pretty slow and wish there was a ranger keeping tabs on things. We had a twosome in front of us who thought it was ok to play 2 balls each while we waited for them and eventually we’re not able to get our full round as a result.

I drove out to Mission Lakes from San Diego knowing very little about the course. The gamble paid off. From tee to green, the conditions are some of the best in Southern California. The lay out is a bit traditional, but holes 10-12 were really the highlight. If the entire course was like these holes it would be one of the best courses in the Valley no question. The rest of the layout was fun too though and had very nice playing partners. Overall I loved it.
