Loved the layout
Only course we have played that actually has rolling hills and lots of water abd character.
Highly recommend for a. not typical desert course
Accessible golf
The course is pretty basic and flat so it’s a nice place for those that want a relaxing round without a lot of hazards, hills, or otherwise tough shots. Probably not for the experienced golfer looking to challenge themselves.
Slooooooooow play as usual
Coarse is continually overbooked, every weekend, there are no Marshalls, to cover any problems, do not play.
Enjoyable Round
The course was in very good condition - especially for June in the desert. Fairways are wide and approaches were good. The greens could use more grass, but they were in good condition and rolled true and reasonably fast. Was impressed to see a bag drop attendant/starter, too. Reservation was prepaid so I didn't even have to check in at the pro shop. Will play again for sure.
Good course for the Money
Starting the summer months, the Golf Club facilities were limited. The starter was friendly and informative. For the money and location. the golf course was perfect for our golf experience. The course was in decent shape, the greens were healing from being micro- punched but very playable. The holes were challenging with water on some of the holes.
Great course for value
3 hr and 15 min pace of play. Was two of us w a tee time of 8:00am. Course was great and excellently maintained. My only issue is that the bar for food was not ipen til 10:00am, no beverage cart person, there was no clear yardage markers on the course, and there was no gps yardage on the cart which obvi would be helpful and was a lil annoying. Suggest putting clear yard markers in the fairway OR putting GPS on the carts.
Party of 6?
There was a party of 6 golfing in front of us. Extremely slow round, 4 + hours. SM should not allow parties of more than 4 to play together. Otherwise all good.
Beautiful back 9
The front nine of this course holds to its designer. The back nine is a very beautiful layout and is totally opposite of the front nine. Being able to find it at this cost, there were no complaints on my behalf. It's always good to have golf now as an app.
