Palm Desert Resort Country Club

Dropped bags at bag drop. No attendant on duty. A young man came out of building and gave me a key. Never saw any clubhouse. Pointed me to the first tee and that was last I saw of anyone that worked there. Course had some rough areas, some construction going on. Pared up with a nice father and daughter who were familiar with the course and they were very friendly. I wouldn’t rush back here.

I did get to play with a nice Father and Daughter. But when I arrived I went to bag drop, no one to be seen. Then a young man ran over and grabbed a key from a bucket and said here is your cart key. He said have fun, I asked if I needed to check in and he said nope, then he pointed to the first tee and said go ahead whenever you want. Much of the course was under repair. Not the greatest experience.

The course has improved 100% since the homeowners took it over. The course is clean, the greens are perfect and fast and the service was great. It was slow on the back nine, but it was Memorial Day weekend and so one would expect that would be the case.

Course was in excellent shape. Staff was very helpful free range balls. Fantastic value

This is a fun course to play. It's not overly difficult but does have some hazards to watch out for. It's in decent shape but the greens were punched and there was a lot of maintenance happening on the back nine. The crew didn't place the tee boxes and there was a red flag on the back of the green on 17. Regardless, I'm certain I will play there again over the summer.

Lots of construction. No starter. No one really told me anything when I arrived. Basically a guy handed me a key for the cart and said have fun. That was all the interaction with staff.

This course is probably the best value for your money in the desert. Course is in great shape and a lot of fun. Staff is super friendly. 18th hole is a ton of fun, tee off over the water to an island fairway, then second shot over the water to the green. Would highly recommend this course, and will play it again multiple times.

Had early 6:32 tee time and arrived at the pro shop at 6:32 am, but as we all know I was late. Cart boy let me play back nine solo. It was great, quick, but no flags, which hurt my score. At the Tuen I waited to get a slot, and was behind the men’s group. No worries, I already had 9 holes behind me, which helped with my patience. Played the back very relaxed and scored very well, but had two lip outs. Tee hexes were well taken care of, and the greens were recently rolled and in great shape. This course has improved substantially, and if you can get a good tee time, and price, it’s a fun track that you can score on.
