Friendly, Playable Course
For our first round in the desert, the course was very playable with wide fairways, shallow bunkers and relatively easy greens. So much so I shot 14 strokes under my generous handicap. Not many water hazards, except for the feature 9th and 18th holes. Take care at the several road crossings between holes.
Eminently suitable for the higher handicapper, though low markers would probably prefer the challenge of tougher courses in the valley.

Don't be mislead
First off, this is not a real Country Club. It is a completely public course. The conditions and quality of the course are average at best. The photos of this course on Golf Now do not represent the true scenery that is present. Entry level Single Family homes(some very shotty) encroaching the course all over the place. Not a horrible course, but not worth $100 a round. No way. And bring your own breakfast, they do not serve any breakfast at their restaurant. Only hot dogs out of a crock pot at 9:30am. Served by the pro from the pro shop that was sporting a Mo-Hawk. A little different, but he was a nice guy.

Way too expensive for condition of course
Tee fee was over $100.
We were very disappointed in the condition of the course. We have recently played several other less expensive courses which were in much better condition.

Everyone all smiles after round
This place was really busy … but pace of play was good.
Greens in good shape & course was nice .
No driving range .. only net practice area. Took advantage of Chip / pitching area , hidden in back side.
We had food inside restaurant afterwards . Good food and service . Robert (bartender) was wonderful .
Shhhh .. don’t tell anyone . This course best bang for your buck.

Course would be okay if area not so run-down
jThe Pro-shop staff were not overly friendly, however the golfers around the pro-shop and warmup areas were very friendly. The course winds through an old residential neighborhood. Unfortunately, a lot of the homes are rundown and takes away from the experience. The course is not horrible, but not overly well-maintained. The back nine is nicer than the front which rescued the overall experience. The course does have a few standout holes which are beautiful. Overall, I did expect more. I would probably play it again, but only for an extremely good price.

Good value
First the (few) negatives: It’s not the greatest layout, the houses (which line almost every hole) make it sort of unattractive, and the conditioning (a few bare spots in fairways, very little sand in the bunkers) was a little sketchy in spots.
That said - the greens were in excellent condition, there are several good/interesting holes even if they are bland looking, and for a course lined by homes, it really is pretty wide open. There was a fair amount of water, sometimes in sneaky locations.
Typical muni crowd, although I was paired with a local club pro and his very golf-talented wife, who were a genuine pleasure to play with. I played a full 18 in about 4.5 hours with only a couple of holes where we waited.
The staff were excellent. Friendly, low key, helpful. There was a person selling food and drinks from a cart and I saw her 3x in 18 holes. There was ample access to water and rest rooms.
There weren’t many options for where to play in over-seeding season, and this was an excellent experience and a great value for the $. I highly recommend it.

Upkeep
Course is in good shape. Could use a little detailing around sand traps and cart paths. Fun course to play.
