About
Originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., Apollo Beach Golf Club features large, well- bunkered greens and long tee boxes with generous fairways. The course is designed around many small lakes and inlets that dominate the landscape, bringing water into play on every hole. One trip around the layout and you will know that there are all sorts of unseen challenges awaiting golfers of all skill levels. The snack bar/restaurant offers home cooked breakfasts and lunches featuring specials daily.

Pretty good for the price
Overall, course was pretty challenging even with some short holes. Ample amounts of sand and water in strategic places. Greens in good shape.
First five holes we were overrun with mosquitoes. BRING A BUG REPELLENT!
Round cancelled
The course ended up getting closed due to weather the night before. I was unaware of this until I drove 40 minutes to the course. I was also told everybody was called and notified that the course was cancelled but me and other people I talked to never received that phone call.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review, however, we truly apologize for any miscommunication regarding your recent reservation. We assure you that we do our best to communicate properly with our golfers, but we apologize if we missed the mark in this situation. Slow play
Would be nice to have a ranger out there to push slow players. Course was is nice shape especially the greens. Fairways tended to have a lot of dollar weed on them. A nice layout for one of the oldest courses in the area.

Jokes on us after this poor quality
Greens are so bumpy i almost rolled my ankle walking to the flag, fairways had little grass if any nicest part of the course was the water jugs.

This is a nice course in need of some watered fairways. The greens are in fair condition.
What is mostly disturbing about this course is the individuals jumping in front of groups during the round. This has now happened to our group three times playing this course as well as one group of 4 playing at the pace of a snail with two open holes in front of them.

Great course for the price
Found a special price and was a little worried about what we would find. When you drive up don't let the exterior of the clubhouse scare you, the course is much better than that. The staff were friendly and helpful. Pretty much water on every hole but still fair. No hidden holes...what you see is what you get. Course in good condition.

nice rtj design course,,,,
kudos to man running pro shop after some jerk came in and made a rude comment " send the snowbirds home",,,pro shop guy said the snowbirds are great,,,,,,was probably the same guy that kept hitting into myself (snowbird from toronto) and a nice couple that are members , reeny and sam.

Great layout....
Very friendly staff. Some fairways and greens need some work but the course layout made up for any issues.
Definitely will make the drive to play this course again in the near future.

Good layout
It was a short but heavy rain the night before so the first nine was pretty pretty wet. Fairways on the back nine are in fine shape. Some of the greens are patchy. Definitely a fun and challenging course to play. Staff was good and informative it was our first time there.
Great layout poor conditions
Course layout was a lot of fun. Unfortunately to many choices around to pay 40.00 for what the course condition are currently.
Apollo Creed not on the course
Greens were in fairly good shape... fairways needed more grass. Jen Cully is an excellent LPGA teaching pro based out of Apollo Beach GC. I absolutely recommend her to improve your game...men or women!
