About
Rosedale is a true challenge with its great layout that winds through naturally wooded terrain, verdant environmental preserves and shimmering lakes. Each hole presents a new look and a different challenge. Fairways are beautifully maintained and can be tight. Designed by Ted McAnlis, Rosedale features his trademarks: rolling hills, spacious greens and island tee boxes. There are several holes where you'll feel completely alone among nature's splendor with nothing to disrupt the lush, native flora and fauna. This course will bring out your best and provide the setting for a memorable golf experience.

Excellent Course, Well Maintained
Used a GolfNow "Hot Deal" for a mid-week, afternoon round. Played as a twosome in a little over three hours. Never held up by group in front of us. Course is a bit tight in places but very fair. Recent aeration of greens and shaggy tee boxes are the only reasons 'Overall' and 'Conditions' were not five stars. If you are golfing in the Bradenton area this is one course that you should fit into your playlist. B.T.W.: Range and practice area are top notch.
Punched greens not mentioned when I booked tee time
Course was a bit wet but otherwise in good shape other than the greens which had been punched without notifying me online as I booked the round.
Hot but quick
I played in 3:15 it was hot that’s why the course is quiet but for me three hrs is perfect.
Great place to play
Rosedale is a very fine golf course. Tough but fair. You must keep it in play off the tee or you are looking at bogey or worse....
Staff is great. Schafer is a great starter and deserves a raise!

Fantastic Facility & Staff - Members and rules; pretentious
4.5 hours on a ~6k yard course is ridiculous.
Obviously this was overbooked.
Waiting 10 minutes on EVERY shot is absurd.
It wasn’t one group holding up play; there were foursomes on every hole.
This can and should be managed better.
Beautiful course. Good course condition.
Only a few holes that are not “tight”.
Great if you’re hitting it straight!
Lastly; if you have a “no hat” clubhouse rule, hang a VISIBLE sign, and ensure your members adhere to it.
Do not ask me to remove my hat; when there are (literally) six others in the clubhouse wearing theirs.
I will not play here again, due to the latter.

First time playing this course
Course was in great shape
One of the best courses for the money that I have played on the west side of the state.
I really enjoyed today’s round and met two good golfers that let me tag along with them
Great Course in Bradenton, FL
Played a great round today on a really tough Bradenton Course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great shape on this tough course. This is a really good course for intermediate and advanced players.
Beautiful course, not great service
Went 15 holes before the cart girl came by. I called after the first 10 holes and the front desk had no idea what time the cart girl was working or if she was on the course. No one told me I was being paired up with another couple, so my morning started with me getting yelled at by the starter because I was unaware I was paired up. The course is immaculate and I loved playing it, but I was definitely rushed. I would love to return to the course, but wish these couple things could be addressed..
