About
Rosedale is a true challenge with its great layout that winds through naturally wooded terrain, verdant environmental preserves and shimmering lakes. Each hole presents a new look and a different challenge. Fairways are beautifully maintained and can be tight. Designed by Ted McAnlis, Rosedale features his trademarks: rolling hills, spacious greens and island tee boxes. There are several holes where you'll feel completely alone among nature's splendor with nothing to disrupt the lush, native flora and fauna. This course will bring out your best and provide the setting for a memorable golf experience.

Rainy but worth it
One of my new favs. We played most of the front in a drizzle but glad we stuck to it as this course is a really good value for the price. The 5s arecreachable w 2 excellent strikes and the 3s are all challenging based on their length. People are sometimes critical of the grass on the greens as it seems to grow horizontally somewhat which can make for a grainy roll that can be hard to read. I’m willing to keep playing it as the course and staff are quite accommodating.
Save your money, be safe elsewhere
I have been playing here for several years and usually, it is in very nice shape. Recently, the conditions are not meeting expectations. Tee boxes and fairways are ok- not great, the rough is really rough. Areas around the greens are bare and burned out with more patchy weeds than grass. The greens themselves were very poor, some were diseases and patchy, all of them were SLOW and bumpy. Speaking of slow, the round took us 5.5 hours- that is just unacceptable and made the afternoon into a chore waiting on every shot with 3 groups on each hole from 1 through 18. No ranger to help move people along. They are very strict about not allowing coolers- but there was no cart girl. They directed us to a self serve water station that should have been closed in the interest of social distancing. 89° and sunny with no water also made a long day feel longer and more miserable...Golf is to remain open through the coronavirus pandemic as a form of excercise under certain safety guidelines- for example, check in outside the clubhouse, having only one golfer per cart...not at Rosedale, they didnt even give the option. 2 golfers in every cart, even if they were strangers. The course and the driving range were packed with no regard for social distance or safety. Other courses have done a much better job of taking public health seriously. Rosedale just wants to maximize profits at the expense of player safety. Overall, I am sad to see this course in poor condition because it is a great layout. I am more upset that management would rather jam people out there on top of each other instead of being safe. I got an afternoon hotdeal for $26 and that was too much money for the product received. Save your money, protect your health, wait until conditions improve and play elsewhere. Hopefully, courses that manage Covid19 safety like this will not ruin golf for the rest of us. If guidelines are not being met the state or county can ban golf altogether...thankfully, most other courses are doing a better job of protecting our health and safety.

Disgrace to the Game!
Kevin in the Pro Shop was Extremely Rude and Disrespectful! This course also refused to allow one golfer per cart, even though we are dealing with the uncertainty of a world wide Coronavirus Pandemic. This is not only a greedy attempt to double their daily player revenue, but a total disregard for the customers safety. Kevin’s behavior and profanity was not only unprofessional and unacceptable, but a real disgrace to the gentlemen’s game of golf. Maybe Kevin would be better suited for the game of hockey, or better yet the unemployment line!
Rosedale will never get my business again!
Nice course but tough
Great layout but you better hit it straight lol. I lost more balls on my first round on this course than my last five rounds combined. Conditions were good but a few greens had major repairs in process and tee boxes were average, The greens were slow but true. Fairways were nice. I would definitely try it again

Best value around
Love this course all year round! Rare tree lined fairways are unlike most other Florida courses. Par 5’s are true risk/reward. Par 3 distances vary and provide good challenges.

Rosedale review
Very nice layout. Every hole is unique and has character. A course that can be played multiple times and have different shots or angles each time. Employees not interested in being there, but also during tough time.

One of my top 5 favorite local courses
A very fun course. The Fairways are weed free and well watered(no brown spots). The greens are very nice though not real fast. Only saw a small patch of mold on one green. A Couple of tee boxes were pretty beat up but not a real problem. Played with a lady and 2 course employees that I do not know personally, who were very nice. Started about 12:30 and we were done about 4:00. Great pace for this time of year but I suspect we just got lucky for there was nobody in front of us the entire round. A fun, beautifully maintained course.

WORST GREENS

Bumpy Greens
Played Rosedale about a month ago and greens were in decent shape. Today the greens needed help.
