Golfer Reviews
Rosedale Golf & CC- no thorns all roses
Great course and staff!!! Challenging at times. Greens were fun and had often more than one break.
Wonderful Course
My wife and I love playing this course the fairways and the greens and the layout are all truly exemplary. There is great value in playing at Rosedale the amenities, the clubhouse All exceptional it is by far my favorite course
Course is in great condition staff very friendly returning from Rosedale to Route 70 is impossible
Not friendly
Signed up as a single. Arrived an hour before my tee time. Stopped at the bag drop, the attendant was talking to one of his buddies (in a golf cart), did not come over to the car. Put my clubs at the drop myself. Driving range ok. Only had 1/2 open. Big putting green. I got to the 1st tee 10 minutes early. Started said my group was the second to go off. A 3sum arrived and they were on the tee. My group was next. Nobody showed. Another 3sum arrived for the time after mine. The starter said I had to play at my tee time and would not put me with one of the 3sums. I played by myself between 2 3sums with 4sums in the 5 groups ahead. I waited 10 to 15 minutes between shots (and I played 2 balls). Every time I arrived at the next tee box, the group in front had not teed off yet. Did not offer to have me join, did not even talk to me. The group behind me would arrive on the tee and I asked them if they wanted to join me. They said no. Those were members of the club. Took me 2 hours and 45 minutes to play 9 holes. I quit at the turn. Decided to go into the clubhouse for a drink . The place was empty. No one to be seen. Sat at the bar for about 5 minutes and nobody came. I just gave up on this place.
Tight course, Great condition
We enjoyed the course. It’s challenging with lots of water, tight fairways and lightening fast greens.

Great track, green are in great shape but not level at all. Challenging course, tight fairways. Would recommend
Decent but pricey
Fast greens and true, tough pin placements, nice layout, target golf, friendly staff but overpriced. Conditions were decent/good. Traffic in the area is terrible.
AWESOME 5* Course
Picked this course based on reviews on GolfNow. Did not disappoint. Awesome course in every respect.👏👏👏👍
Great layout & Good condition
Can't give it a 5 star. Had a very nice outing with friends, first time for myself and two others. It was great to have a friend that had already played it several times which steered us around throughout the round. My only beef is that the carts did not have GPS. With a course of this stature and even more with the layout it has with several doglegs but more importantly, hidden water and other hazards that can't be seen from the tee, this course is a must have GPS. I'm a low handicap and did not have a good playing day due to injury but having my regular game and not having a friend that had played it before, it could have become a very frustrating layout to play because of hidden hazards from the tee. Other than that, an excellent and fun golf course to play.
Rosedale is in better shape than almost every course in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. The greenskeeper has done a phenominal job in preparing the course. My only negative comment is that the course is entirely too thin!!
