About
River Run Golf Links is a municipal course owned by the city of Bradenton. Unlike many others in the area, golfers won't have to worry about hitting homes on this non-residential course. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but it's also a fair test that is anything but boring. The two nines are referred to as the River Nine, the front, and the Pirate nine. The golf course is mostly straightforward and a pleasure to walk, although there are carts available. Ancient oak trees draped with Spanish moss provide shade and scenery throughout the course. Water has a prominent presence, coming into play on almost every hole. Some of the holes are tight and can be quite challenging but beginners can still approach River Run Golf Links with confidence.

Well done, again!
Yes, yes, the course is great, well taken care of….. yadda yadda yadda. The reason you want to choose this course is the people. From the payment to the bag guys to the starter to the ranger to the on course snack bar attendant, they were all great today. We love playing this course. PS, their sister course, River Club Golf is great too!!
Course was good condition.
There was good pace of play. Carts paths were nice. Friendly staff in the pro shop and friendly staff at backdrop. Setup of course was good. overall experience was good.
Good course
Nice layout, not too tuff or too easy. Unfortunately the greens were not to my liking. .I'm used to better greens here...smoother. There greens were a little bumpy (not terrible) and they aren't really consistent, maybe because a green could have thin spots or other grass. It's not bad, tho. Overall I liked it.
River Runs Through it
It’s nice for a muni course. No houses or anything. The layout on some holes is very close with tee boxes near greens. I didn’t think the greens were in the best condition, but they were ok for the price.
Highly recommended
Great course, great condition, great value and, best of all, we were round in 3hrs 15m. Admittedly we were a two ball and played through at the turn, but the pace of play was still fast.
Well kept
Fairways were really nice. I was surprised because we haven't had much rain. Greens were a little fast but consistent.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
River Run is overall a very playable course. Fairways are nice and greens are fair could be a little softer. Probably one of the best deals around Bradenton area.
