About
River Run Golf Links is a municipal course owned by the city of Bradenton. Unlike many others in the area, golfers won't have to worry about hitting homes on this non-residential course. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but it's also a fair test that is anything but boring. The two nines are referred to as the River Nine, the front, and the Pirate nine. The golf course is mostly straightforward and a pleasure to walk, although there are carts available. Ancient oak trees draped with Spanish moss provide shade and scenery throughout the course. Water has a prominent presence, coming into play on almost every hole. Some of the holes are tight and can be quite challenging but beginners can still approach River Run Golf Links with confidence.

Mixed Signals
The staff on the whole were extremely professional and friendly. The only negative for the whole round was when the guy on the cart came flying by screaming at everyone to get off the course at 5:50 PM ... that the course closed at 5:45 which we were unaware of but now know. He could have been a little more professional.

Great course, friendly staff….speed it up
Loved the experience…
But having teed of at 2.07
Had to skip last 7 holes as pace of play slowed to a ridiculous pace

Challenging
Each hole offers it's own challenge from easy to difficult which keeps you from getting bored. Give this course a try fairly sure you will enjoy yourself. Be sure to play the Tees that suit your game not your ego.

Good Enough
Web suggests a range, but only 2 nets to warm up into. Course is dry, but def good enough to play. Tight fairways, relatively short. Greens subtlety challenging. Def worth the money.

Very friendly and in very good shape.
Friends and I play a minimum of once a week and sometimes twice. The pace of play is usually pretty good, except when some other players don’t consider the people behind the, and practice putting or taking two of 3 off the tee.
Not to many complaints and I’ve been playing there for years and the staff is very kind and friendly.
