About
River Run Golf Links is a municipal course owned by the city of Bradenton. Unlike many others in the area, golfers won't have to worry about hitting homes on this non-residential course. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but it's also a fair test that is anything but boring. The two nines are referred to as the River Nine, the front, and the Pirate nine. The golf course is mostly straightforward and a pleasure to walk, although there are carts available. Ancient oak trees draped with Spanish moss provide shade and scenery throughout the course. Water has a prominent presence, coming into play on almost every hole. Some of the holes are tight and can be quite challenging but beginners can still approach River Run Golf Links with confidence.

great value for the price.
this course is not perfectly groomed but we enjoyed playing there & it is good enough to enjoy.
OK COURSE FOR THE MONEY
An OK course for a Muni and for the money.
Staff are very friendly.
Course condition is fair.
Slow round at +/- 5 hours.

Good value
Fair pricing this year compared to municipal courses at $69. Everyone else is gouging a little this year.

Sorry, did not end up playing. Course was backed up at 2pm by about 1 hour due to a lack of carts. Unlikely to get the round in before dark so cancelled. If I rebook it will be in the morning.

Good value!
The day I played was on a Thursday 2 o’clock teatime it was really busy they warned us that we probably wouldn’t get our full round in which was fine. The course was exceptionally dry I think would be much much better shape if they would water and I don’t know why they haven’t been watering yet you could tell were the cups have been replaced on the green probably a dozen times in the in the past. But for the price I paid it was a value and once it greens up hopefully it will look much better
