The course is ok. We had to skip a hole because of drainage installation. Course used to be better Still ok but over priced. I played top notch courses in the same area for 10-15$ more

Should have been warned about course conditions
I posted the review indicating that we were unable to play all 18 hole and should have been warned about the conditions. The GM responded that they never close 2 holes at a time. I have to respond to this comment. Specifically hole 2 on the front was closed and hole 8 on our backside were closed to play. The gentleman playing with us also complained of the hole closures.
The point of my review is we should have been told.

Nice course
Enjoyed my round. Like the 3 9 hole layout . Also, no homes. Just trees and alligators. Staff has been super friendly every time I play. They go out of their way to ensure you enjoy the round.

On the day we played, 2 holes were shut down for what appeared to be irrigation work. We should have been warned that all 18 holes were not open for play.

Pace of play on the second nine was absolutely

First nine 1 hour 40 minutes—- terrific
Second nine 2 hours 15 minutes
Standing around for every shot on the back

Twilight special golf
Good rate at twilight. Pace of play can be slow if you are not the first couple groups out at Twight. Wish they stopped at dusk instead of 6. Could have played a couple more holes. Eveytgung was locked up when we finished inclufing the bathroom.

First time in 2025
I Have played Mayakka many times in the past few years. First time this year as I am renting in Cape Coral vs. Englewood. Staff is always great. Course condition is improved over 2024 and will only get better with upgrade to the irrigation system being completed now. Only downside was bunker condition (wet & heavy soil vs. sand) on the White course. Look forward to playing again.
