White/Blue at Myakka Pines Golf Club

Course is much improved since I played it in 2023. Upgraded cart paths and improved condition of greens and tee boxes really stood out to me.

Lots of bare spots, new sod that needs watering, no cart girl and very limited snack bar options. Greens were fast and true.

Course is in good condition and worth the value of the money

Great weather day and course conditions. Quick greens and decent pace of play for a Sunday afternoon in February.

Great greens. , Super friendly staff. Tee off on time. Place slow. Course in general is not in great shape, most likely to revisit here late spring summer.

They only had 17 holes open. We should have been compensated for that and or notified.

Just a fun place with an old school laid back Florida vibe.

Course was in great shape and the pace of play was great! We played 18 holes is less than 4 hours. This is a great Course for the money especially compared the other area courses at this time of year.

Nice to see a course here in Florida putting money into the course. There was a lot of work being done on the course to improve it. That's not always the case here in Florida. Bravo! The greens were very fast and in great condition.

Cart staff, starter and golf shop attendant all very friendly,

I played red blue combination, on the red 9 they had several crews out working on drainage pipes and the workers had no golf knowledge. As you approached them they continued to work and did not pause or even look up. I waited 3-4 minutes on some holes to hit shots. I do not hitting a golf ball if workers in front of you don’t pay attention.

When I played the blue 9 they did not have any workers on that 9 and I caught a 3 some and finished my round with them. Two were members and they helped with advice off tee where to hit (and where not to hit). Overall turf conditions are still In recovery mode and the $90 price tag seemed steep for a very average course and lay out.

The greens were Bermuda and grass was dormant, so it was a yellowish brown color and while they rolled very nice, fast and smooth it was difficult to read them.

I might consider going back in a couple of years…. But it’s my understanding they are going to be adding homes to golf course which will definitely impact the wildlife that one can see. I saw several gators, 1 American eagle some osprey and several other birds that are native to area.
