In Great Shape

Was funny driving almost 50 miles for a tee time at 0708, when it was still dark and foggy. We didn't get out till 0730, but we're the first ones off the tee. We knew the course enough to know where to drive the ball. Then when we got to the fairway we could see the ball to hit our next shot. Greens in great shape. Sand traps were wet, but it had rained last night. Overall the two of us got done in 3 hours. Played White and Blue

This was my first visit to Myakka Pines. Considering everything that's happened recently, the course was in very good condition. The staff is super nice and helpful. I played Red/White. Looking forward to playing Blue next time. Make this a Must Play when visiting the Venice area.

Solid selection

Was looking for a new place to go and so I drove down from Sarasota. It was an enjoyable course but not worth the trip. The course is noIce and it is wide open. Pace was a bit on the slow side but pretty good compared to most other area courses. Appreciate the access to the range.

As others have mentioned, they are installing new irrigation. Our 18th hole was closed. Otherwise the course is in good shape and fun to play. Greens on the slow end.

Course starter

Everything would have been fine except the course starter was rude and did not come close to other country clubs we have played in the Sarasota county area. Needs social behavior modifications. Players beware!

While I personally believe we have the best staff in golf, I won't pretend that we get it right 100% of the time. I'm sorry that this was your experience. As with all of our operations we will continue to look for how we can deliver a 5 star experience time after time.
