Bobby Jones Golf Club - John Hamilton Gillespie Course

Walked the 9 hole par 3 course playing 2 balls at each hole in 50 min. Great after work spot to work on wedges and putting. Greens are in great shape with challenging pin locations. Got the lighting deal and played for $15. Worth every penny at that price.

Nice extremely friendly golf experience!! Better than spending time on the golfing range across the street at Bobby Jones Range!!so grateful to have this nearby—- wish someone would return my sandwedge left on the 9th green! ! I will need it in Michigan!!

Good value to just get acquainted with golf play and easy variety of use of club selection during play. Rough conditions of sand traps and little grassy areas of ball landings.Very friendly, caring staff!! Sarasota is a pricey area of golf play—- not sure of high this course got such a high star rating—- more like a rating for the neighborhood 18 hole course across the street.

This course is nice for beginner's golf practice! Or simply fun golfing with family golf of all ages!! Lots of opportunities to practice different shots! Golf is very pricey in Sarasota so grateful this course is available. No soft sands in the traps or grassy areas near the greens and various parts of the fairways for balls to be on top of grassy landings. For the price, this is nicer than hitting balls on a driving range— very affordable golf!. How this course got such a strong star rating is fantasy!!! I have played many pricey coursed that don’t get this high of a star rating!!’ Maybe there is a mix up with the actual pricey Bobby Jones 18 hole course in this time rating!!!

Course in poor condition. Weeds in fairways, no sand in bunkers, large dead spots on some greens.

The course could really use two different sets of tee boxes it’s a little short could easily be made a little longer

We enjoyed playing and have booked another T time for Wednesday

This place is a total dump... Don't believe the good reviews.. will never go back.

Very nice for an executive course. Greens are in excellent condition. Kate at the desk is second to none. Will definitely go back to work on the short game.

It was not clear from the course description that this was a par 3 course. We expected a regular 9 hole course. We had the course to ourselves, just a few other groups visible. Fun enough, working on approach shots and putting. Course is in fair condition at best.
