All in all
It’s a very good course in between par 72s when you want to back off and use your iron, short game practice. I will return soon.
Beginner Golfer
I am a beginner golfer at the age of 65. This is a great local course close to my house for me to learn to play on. Easy course.
Get what ya pay for
Greens were in good condition but the rest of the course was pretty rough. Tee boxes are dangerously close to the previous holes greens.
I probably wouldn’t go back but my wife liked it cause it was short.
Lots of positives
Got a great price on a hot deal and thought I would give Village Green a try. It is a relatively easy and very short (par 58) executive links style course. Great for practicing your short game. The good, absolutely pristine greens that ran true. I also managed to play a full 18 in just over 2 hours during season which is almost unbelievable. Layout is a little tight with neighboring fairways right up against tee boxes in a couple of spots which means you need to watch for balls flying in and listen closely for shouted "FOURS". Tee boxes and fairways were average.with a fair amount of weeds and bare patches but, all in all, a nice find if you want to grab a quick 18. I will definitely be back.
Great for practice
Short game practice course. Do not use tees. they have sand buckets on the tee box. Pretend each shot is number 2. Tee boxes a little sparse. Greens and surrounds are lush. Fairways a bit dry. New ownership showing improvements in condition.
Disappointed
The course is in OK condition. It’s mostly par threes.
The greens were in excellent condition. I would play there again.
