Better Value

I think Prince William is one of the better value courses. Amenities aren’t great but usually can get a good deal and layout is fun.

Need to be manage playing time

We spent 45 mins to play just 2 holes and reported to club house but nothing happenned after, and when I called again they want me to skip the hole to pass front group, I don't understand why I need to skip hole becauae of some other group played super slow at the course. They needed to ask the group to skip one or two hole instead ask our group. No one want to play 6 hours rounding.

Good local course

Fairly player friendly course. Forgiving and open. A couple long par 3s. A few dollars over priced imo, but since it's 10 minutes away I will keep playing it. Tiny pro shop/clubhouse. Belie average range and small putting green. Gas golf carts so you habe to be careful of noise for nearby players. No golf cart gps. Fairways were decent considering the lack of rain. Greens rolled well considering you csn still see thr aeration. Got some good rain last night so I'm interested to see how it plays next week. Very friendly staff other than 1 young man who was in a bit of a mood lol.

Tldr: worth playing if youre local, not worth a drive currently, could change with some rain and grass improvement.

Stuff

I’ve played this course a few times. Mostly, this course can take around 5 hours to complete in the summer. They do stack tee times. However, the staff has always been sweet hearted and helpful. Give it a shot. Sometimes you can play twilight and get 18 in in 3 hours.

Perfect weather
Walked

Championship? No, But... A Very Good Public Course

This was my first time playing this course and I enjoyed it. Its an above average public course with faster than average greens and an interesting but not overly challenging layout. The course was in very good condition and the weather was quite lovely. The pace of play was 3:45 minutes for 18 hole on a Wednesday afternoon to walk this course, which was slightly hilly. So don't be afraid to eschew the use of a cart. My rate was $33, which was quite fair and on the lower side from what I can tell for playing 18 on a weekday. I live about a hour away but my daughter is about 15 minutes from this course. I'd be happy to play this one again as part of a family visit

Nice course. Group in front of us was very slow play. Ranger talked to them several times but they just didn’t get it. I would go back.

First time there

Overall, I enjoyed playing the course. It wasn’t overly difficult but the greens made up for its lack of difficulty…they were fast and there wasn’t a flat spot anywhere.

The pace of play was a little slow but it wasn’t too bad

First round of the year

Really enjoyed this round. Played better than I thought I would for my first time out this year. The greens were punched though which added an extra challenge for putting.
