Faldo at Wildfire Golf Club at Desert Ridge Resort

Greens were pretty inconsistent, but we were forewarned from Golf-Now that the greens had just been aerated. Other than that the course was in great condition and really enjoyed how it played. We started around 330p and there wasn't a sole behind us (twilight in the AZ summer will do that). Kinda disappointing that the the beverage girl called it a day just as we started, but probably for the best as we stuck to water for the round. The bag drop staff was great and very friendly.

Course was in good shape for this time of year. The greens were slow due to being plugged. Give them another week and they will be good. Pace of play was excellent.

Nice golf course in good condition. Many sand traps to
catch your ball if you miss a fairway .Desert rough was very challenging.Best to hit a 3 wood or long iron to avoid the rough if possible.The greens were in good shape as well as the driving range and putting practice areas.Overall,a good experience!

Very nice course layout. Many fairway bunkers.
But green is after overseeding then green was ruined for a while.

Fun and challenging course to play. It was in great summer time condition for Phoenix. Plenty of sand traps to avoid.

Great course lots of challenges with deep bunkers everywhere, especially guarding the greens. There is a variety of tees to accommodate golfers of all levels although this is a course that would not be for novices. Loved the layout and the course, will definitely be back. The staff are excellent and very helpful. Highly recommend you try the Faldo course.

Disappointed with the way the greens were. I get that they just aerated them but they never warned us when we called or checked in. There was no warning on golf now either which I find misleading. I will never return based on this experience.

I had the greatest experience during my recent visit to the Wildfire Golf Course. All of the staff was great, especially Dave who worked in the Pro Shop. While driving to the golf course, I almost missed my turn and took the turn too sharp causing me to blow out a tire on the curb. I was barely able to drive my car into the golf course. I entered the Pro Shop with the intentions of cancelling my tee time since I would have to deal with the task of changing my tire. While in the Pro Shop, I had the pleasure of meeting Dave. He was so kind and offered to take care of my tire, stating "you just go ahead and have fun and play golf, we'll take care of your tire". I took him up on his offer. When I finished my game, I returned to find my tire changed. This type of service should be shared and commended.

Faldo course in beautiful condition tee to green. Lots of sand, but very playable for any skill level. Great bargain this time of year. (July). Staff very friendly and helpful. Great experience.

Course was in good shape except for sand traps which were hard pan under 1/2" of sand.

I've played both Faldo and Palmer. The rates finally fall to decent value for the golf courses. Faldo is my favorite. Lays out nicely and LOTS of bunkers. Will be aerified 3 week of July. Well worth visiting if you haven't played here.

The course has some summer wear on it but still good playing conditions. Greens are great and bunkers are soft.

Course is in great shape. Tee to green is solid and not patchy. Greens were receptive and rolled true. decently fast for the length they have to be kept to guard against the heat.

Very lush and green, perfect fairways and greens that held while putting true. Tons of bunkers, which was the biggest challenge, but is well worth playing.

Faldo has a distinctive look to his courses. Many large and deep bunkers all very visible from the tee. Be prepared to use your sand game. Based on all the deep bunkers and the yardage for ladies, I would say this is not a woman friendly course. However it is in terrific shape and is visually beautiful.

Not as tough as te Palmer course. Will definitely play it again.
