My favorite par 3 at LR. Photo submitted by Douglas7907013 on 07/21/2015
Great Course!
This is by far the best course in the Laughlin area. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were in excellent shape but the bunker needed a little TLC. The staff was top notch! This is my new favorite course to play when in Laughlin for a weekend get a way.
Note: All pictures were taken at the silver tees.

A Laughlin Gem
This is one challenging course, especially from the back two sets of tees. The course is in great condition for this time of the summer. Fairways, rough and greens are in fantastic shape. The only negative is the traps. Both fairway as well as greenside traps are filled with dirt and rocks. Not a bit of sand anywhere. If the traps were in better shape, this course could easily get a 5 out of 5 rating. That being said, it is still the best course in the Laughlin area.
Great course
I love playing this course. If it wasn't for the sand traps which had a lot of stones and rocks in them this would be one of the best courses to play in Arizona. Views are awesome, tee box to greens were great.
Golfnow.com made it happen
Using Golfnow.com made this round of golf affordable. Laughlin Ranch is a superior facility. The course was in impeccable shape. I was paired up with a senior couple and followed a PGA minor league tournament. I was impressed by the holes being painted white around the rim. I have never played a course with that feature. I one putted several greens and shot a 77 that day which tied my best ever. Down side of using Golfnow.com and getting the wonderful inexpensive rate, my wife road with me and being the honest sort that I am the pro shop charged me $20.00 for her to ride in my cart. The views are breathtaking, the several different tee box options for many handicaps make it playable for all abilities. I love this course PERIOD.
Due to my wife's health issues she often rides with me as well. Always hit and miss on being charged.
Beautiful
We went during reseeding looking forward to going back in March! Otherwise course would have gotten pristine! So beautiful but extremely difficult my husband and I felt this course was as if not harder then Plantation in Maui!
Tough when windy
The course was in good shape. Unfortunately, the wind was blowing 15-20 mph. It is a difficult course without the wind. But, it was fun enough to replay.
Another NIce day of golf!
The course was in real nice condition but you needed to play attention to where you needed to hit your shots and the pin placements. The greens were slower than normal but the ball still rolled real nice, Also, the golf course did not honor the $49.00 residents rate from Golfnow, so we had to play $59.00 at the course..
Awesome course, great views, fast greens, really well maintained
Bring a camera cause the views are something to have. The best desert course in the area, very nice practice range and putting / chipping. Note the time difference between Laughlin and Bullhead city. Greens run very very nice. People are very nice at the course.
Challenging course, exceptional views, ideal for mid-handicapper.
Exceptional views, quite hilly, challenging for low to mid-handicapper. Would definitely play again
very few ball washers
I played from the Zinc Blocks 6,300yds and my wife played from copper.from the Zinc the course was perfect for my 12 handy cap your having to tee off over waste areas on most of the holes and your second shot onto the green is challenging as there 2 tear greens and have the right amount of breaks. As for the wifes tees they were very user friendly, they take away all the waste area for the ladies so a very enjoyable course to play.the ball washers were about 1 per nine holes so they could add a few more but not a deal breaker by any means its a very pretty course. Don't do like i did and forget your camera
Very Nice Course
A word of warning - if coming from Nevada or California check the time in AZ!! The staff were very accommodating to us being a little late. Our front nine was great. A little windy. No one ahead or behind our twosome (2 ladies!). The course is spectacular and very challenging. We were enjoying our golf. Then we caught the three men in three carts on number 10!! Slow, slow, slow. Why is it men will not allow ladies to play through? They were not very good and we hit the ball farther than they did. It is a fallacy that women golfers are slow. We waited on every shot which ruined it for us. So you men reading this review - please don't leave your manners behind when you head out to the golf course.
A disappointment
Greens were in poor shape. Have played here before and look forward to playing here again. The price paid was too much for the condition of the greens. Course running a 29 dollar special but charging 49 on line. We got it for 44 and didn't know condition of greens. Disappointed.
the golf course is nice.shame it took 6 hours to play.
this is a tough one to review because the golf course itself is actually really good.i still think mojave resort has more character but both courses are fine.my problem is with the staff. we booked online 2 weeks before.we show up and pay in the clubhouse and drive down to the practice area where the starter is.we look around and theres people everywhere. we ask the starter whats going on and aparently theres a pro/am tournament( from what i could tell some very average pros and very below average ams).so we had to wait well beyond our start time for this tournament of 8 flights with some 5 and 6 balls to get underway and eventually we finished 6 hours later after watching these torunament players spend eternity( at least it felt ike it) hitting out of rock canyons.the amatuers were gambling with each other so there were no drops given.one par 3 was backed up so much that we waited 25 minutes to play. the marshall wasnt about to tell these guys to speed up so we just had to accept it.
after the round the other 2 in our flight went up to complain and they didnt seem to care.
i have no problem with clubs running tournaments but they should inform you before you pay.at least then you have the option of going somehwere else .and the marshalls should keep the pace of play going regardless of tournament or social.
mojave resort is a more interesting course anyway so i wont be coming back.
Windy and the greens were slow, slow, slow.
Good layout, challenging from the silver tees. Uphill holes difficult and downhill holes fairly easy. Found the 14th hole and 18 hole in the right to left wind very difficult. Heat was moderate with the wind. Summer temperatures militate against closely cut greens. Wonder if during the winter the greens are faster. Good deal on GolfNow.
Nice pics! Good to see they switched the nines permanently. That old 1st new 10th was a bear of a way to start.
