Laughlin Ranch Golf Club

We play LR every time we come to the area. The staff is always exceptional as is the course. The views on the course are worth the trip itself. When you complete your round, the massage is exceptional and always refreshing. The bar is always a hit. If you are looking for a great place to spend the day, this is it.

Course is in excellent condition. Very playable if you can play in 25 mile oer hour winds. Greens are a challenge but run true. Grainy.

Couse your tee wisely. I am an 11 handicap and play the silver tees.

Played course in 25 to 30 mph winds. Try to schedule during little to no wind conditions as it is brutal in high winds. Great greens that rolled true. Tee boxes for every length in great condition. Could use longer grass along fairway boundaries.

One of the best desert courses you’ll find anywhere. Every hole is unique and interesting. One of the best features are two drivable par 4’s that give you options. Paul with Outside Services was very friendly and made you feel welcome right away!

Laughlin Ranch is a fantastic golf course. The setting is beautiful with a lot of elevation changes and scenic mountain views. The greens were large and forgiving. I was locked in and played well with 4 birdies. If there is a negative (beyond their control) it is the constant strong winds (especially on the back 9 which sits at a higher elevation). All in all it is a course I look forward to playing again! OH - be on the look out for Burrows. We did not see any but there was burrow dung everywhere!

Still our favourite place to play in the area. Always a friendly greeting by staff. Great layout that is challenging but not to the point of frustrating you. Course conditions are great..most of the bunkers are lacking some sand..but the solution is to not hit into them. If you are wild in your shots..you better bring a lot of balls..if you are in the desert..your ball is pretty much lost. The good news..the desert areas play as lateral penalty areas. There are a lot of false front greens..so the course plays a bit longer than posted…check the recommended handicap for the tees you should play…you'll have a fun day..and won't hold up the groups behind you! 4 and 1/2 hours is a good pace for this course. We teed off at 1:40 and finished at 6:10…but waited on quite a few holes.
