Wet
This course would have been much more enjoyable if it was dry. Fairways and tee boxes were saturated. It would have been nice to be asked if we minded being paired with smokers.
First time at CP
It was cool not cold but that's not an option for the weather. The bag guy was GREAT and seems he was doing it all - not only taking care of the golfers but out on the course as a ranger and fixing tee boxes on the par 3s. Course was in excellent condition in spite of being a little wet in areas. Pace of play was not so great but we were able to play all 18 holes before sunset at 515pm. I'll go back to CP for sure!
Pleasantly Surprised
Had read reviews of course and was nervous that it was going to be a poor choice. All members of my group liked this place.
It had that local golfer type feel to the place. Decent condition and good layout.

Enjoyable round. Small challenging greens with small breaks that were sometimes difficult to read. First 9 slow, some reason a group of 5 were in front of us with 2 walking and a group of dogs.
The course was very wet and it had not rained for more than 24 hours and even then it had been only a passing shower. Otherwise, the course was very nice. We did not have to wait until the back nine and then it was a pretty consistent wait every hole due to the foursome in front of us, but our threesome completed the group in just over four hours still. Fun day.
Lots of water!
Course was in good shape and a fun course to play. Lots of sand and water to avoid! Lots of turkeys too! Drizzled most of the day we played but had a great time.
Boggy fairways
Apparently new groundskeeper is overwatering everywhere. Greens were fine, but we had many places that were absolutely waterlogged for no reason (it hasn’t rained in awhile). If it weren’t for all the muddy places, it would have been a great golf experience. Please make sure to stop the overwatering
