Crown Park Golf Course

I have played here a half a dozen times and this is the worst greens I’ve ever encountered. Granted I have never played September golf in North Myrtle Beach so I understand aeration and other techniques are necessary to keep the greens in top shape. There should be a reduced rate when the greens are in as bad as shape as they were today

Only real negative was the extremely slow play, 3 hours to play the front 9. Finally quit after 11 holes. Caused by a large outing.

Otherwise I thought the course was in pretty good shape. The greens putted remarkably well considering they were punched out about 2 weeks ago just a little slow on the uphill putts. Would definitely play the course again as long as there is not an outing.

WOW! CROWN PARK's fairways, rough and tee boxes have finally arrived and are excellent! Greens have just been airiated and in 2 weeks Crown Park will be 100% ......Fabulous and Thank You!

For the price of a round of golf this is certainly great value for money. It is a little far from Myrtle Beach but worth the drive. You need to be straight off the tee otherwise trouble awaits and there is a very picturesque par 3 finish. We got stuck behind a very slow 4 ball at the turn who refused to let us through. They took 25 minutes to play the 10th hole so we had to bypass them. Otherwise a great experience and will be playing there again.

A fair and challenging layout. Very welcoming staff,from cart guy, to registration, to the snack shop. Gets a very high recommdation for cost and enjoyment.

The course keeps improving every time i play it....Fairways and greens are very Good....cant wait for Fall weather and the months to come!!!

Course was remarkably in good condition, greens had been top dressed with sand which made it hard to read them. Overall, great day of golf.

Unfriendly staff and members. Fairways are mush poor draining conditions terrible bunked. Green speed slow. Not a fun experience

Arrived at the course hoping to get a bite before my round but the grille was closed…it had just rained so I guess it had something to do with it as no one was at the course. Course was wet so cart path only but still enjoyed my round. Nice layout and greens are perfect. Nice course on a hot deal of 24.99, will be back again.

Course was in pretty good shape. Greens had been aerated and bumpy, even after sand was applied. Lots of sand on greens made putting a challenge. Because of previous rains the tee boxes were forward and many of the flags were in the front part of the greens. This was good compensation since there was not much roll in the fairways! The course layout was a good mix of challenging and fair and made club decisions important.

Course was wet but temperatures were mild. Great time to play in July on a nice course. Judging by how many others were still playing in the wet weather I’m guessing they would agree.

Wish before I had booked I had known each green was like walking thru the Sahara
