Everything was great except the greens. Carts, course, layout, staff, and speed of play were above average. The greens were terrible; some had no grass. The fairways were a little thin, but it's early in the season, and they were very playable. Many spots had hidden water. Check the card before playing the hole.

I read about the greens BEFORE I played my round here. A couple greens needed some serious work but overall not too bad. At least there were no temporary greens! Obviously, other people read about the greens on the web because I played on a Tuesday afternoon and basically had the course to myself. Very enjoyable time!

I played this course a few years ago and really enjoyed it. The greens are absolutely shot this time.

Greens were awful however other courses in the area had the same problem. Rest of course was in very good shape and enjoyed the round.

Great course and layout. Like most courses in n SC the winter hurt most courses here. They will all come back .

The course has a great layout but unfortunately they had some problems with their greens over the winter.

Course layout was good. Greens were bumpy not in good shape. The greens are the only drawback making it diifficult to recommend course if you like smooth greens.

Poor conditions on greens give this course a bad name. The course is laid out well and fun, just unfortunate about the terrible condition of the greens.

Had never played this course, so wanted to try it. It was simply awful! This course should be taken out of play until they regrow the greens. Every green had something wrong with it--most without grass on some parts and putting on dirt. Many had no grass and it looked like the dirt had been spray painted green some days prior to my playing it. In any case, putting on dirt greens is not my idea of fun. Additionally, many of the fairways were sparse of grass, so I didn't enjoy the round and it made for a bad experience. The course is extremely short, so you have to be careful because of the water and doglegs, otherwise you'll get into trouble quickly. My reason for a moderate course difficulty was due to the conditions of the course--the layout is not very difficult, particularly due to the length. My only good memory comes from the couple I was paired with from Canada--they were wonderful and we had lunch together after the round. The clubhouse is very nice, but the pre-made sandwiches left a lot to be desired. I will not spend my money here again.

We are locals to the area and have played this course many times in previous years without complaints. The course was in poor shape, especially the greens. The pace of play was very slow. Our group consisted of 3 players and it took us 4 hr 45 min to play 15 holes and we decided to quit our round at that point. We felt the pro shop should know this information but were told by the staff that 5 1/2 to 6 hour rounds should be expected when they have players with hotel packages booking tee times. When we questioned the lack of a ranger on the course, we were told by the pro shop employee that having a ranger makes the pace of play slower rather than keeping the pace of play at a reasonable time of 4 to 4 1/2 hours. Since the staff does not care how long the pace of play at this course can take, we will not return.

Played here a month ago. Since then about four greens have burnt out. Others have some problems, the cutting down of the trees is to shed more sunlight on the course, and widen the fairways. Staff is friendly and the pace of play was about 41/2 hrs. not bad for this time of year. I wouldn't recommend this course at this time

Greens in tough shape. But was fun , staff was super.

I have never played a course in as bad a shape as this. NO GREENS! Trees chopped down all over the course. Anyone who ranks this as good I am sorry but they need their eyes examined. I am sorry to offend anyone.

They course is really bad, all the greens are very bad. I based playing on the golf course rating on Golfnow but I did call the course but they were not open on the conditions.

Next year course should be in great shape with all the work their doing , fairways were fair to good tee boxes the same and greens playable, fun day
