The Duke
Overall course was in good shape. Greens were smooth and relatively quick. Fairways needed work. Grass was sporadic. Very patchy. We had a good pace on the first nine (started on back 9). Second nine way slower! When we made the turn all of a sudden there were 2 groups on the hole in front of us. Not positive but there was a change in the starter and he may have started sending people out the front to start.
Excellent condition
Greens were in excellent shape. The recent rain have really helped the course out.

Nice layout and good scenery. Condition of the course is dry, not burnt but real close, it was near perfect this spring. Restraunt and bar closed due to lack of staff due to low pay, both used to be money makers, even during the pandemic. Updates and maintenance are needed as recent storms and lack of routine maintenance are beginning to show. Recent additions of white sand look good but don't make up for the years of neglect. Best thing that can happen is for it to sell to an owner who is dedicated to golf and not realistate development.

Nice course
The course is one of 2 local courses and is very friendly to the wallet. The people working at the course are nice and friendly, willing to help. It needs water and we know that is hard to come by here in Arizona. I do recommend the course to all locals that I know.

Great golf course for the prize we paid
