Great course
The course was in great shape, lots of challenging holes. Good value for the money
Three Nive Courses
Once summer hits the rates go down so I play here quite often. All three courses are in really nice shape, especially for this time of year, The greens are always in great shape. The Palms course was just closed for maintenance, so I played the Sonoran and Lakes. The lady in the clubhouse is friendly and helpful, and Oakwood has one of the best Starters in the valley. Not a lot of golfers on the day I played, so pace of play was outstanding, finished in two and a half hours.
great value
Course is a great value! Just don't leave your bag unattended on the bag rack by the cart barn . My putter was taken.
Ok course
Course was in pretty good condition overall but staff are a bit unfriendly at times and slow play was a bit of an issue. Overall decent course if you can get a good deal but not so good at full price.
Enjoyed the course
Second time I played Oakwood. First was in the fall with better climate. This time, like most courses, some holes have problems with the escalating heat, but others were still beautiful and providing a great swing surface.
Drastic Difference of Conditions Depending on Course
We played the Palms/Sonoran courses, and the condition of the Palms was okay, but the Sonoran was much better. Staff was great and when I left an item after check-in, a quick call while playing and Staff located and kept it safe until I finished.
Fun Course
My husband and I had a very lovely day on your course. It’s well maintained, friendly staff and well organized for arrival of tee time.
Pace of play was good, not much waiting..
Hidden Gem
Beautiful Course, Friendly Staff and Overall good VIBES. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fair but challenging course. Played the Sonoran - Lakes route. Receptive greens but quick. Definitely not the last time I will be playing this course.
Great experience

Nice selection of holes
I played the lakes/palm combination. Lakes has lots of, you guessed it, lakes. Palms didnt seem to have as many palms, but did have fewer lakes. It was cart path only, and a shotgun start (normal for most of hte year here) so play was fairly slow with lots of walking from the cart to the ball and back. Still played in slightly over 4 hours, so not too bad.
Members i played with were great, fun guys. Starter and pro-shop staff were great. Greens were coming out of over-seed and a bit slower than other times i have played the course. Overall a very nice day. Worth playing, if you can get on the course.
LIke most valley courses, it is basically flat (im used to playing in New Mexico where almost all holes are up, down or across a slope.
Spacious club
It has wide fairways and great greens, but it’s pretty hard to find the clubhouse for first-time visitors. But course was worth it, I'll try again soon.
