About
Ironwood Golf Course is an 18-hole course with many challenging elements. There are water hazards that come into play on five holes and the holes that don't have water have strategically placed sand bunkers coming in to play. All of the greens are sloped and some are undulating as well. One interesting asset of the course is the extensive mounding; the unique and interesting placement can cause uneven lies. The course is tricky but there are three sets of tee boxes to adapt to a variety of abilities and handicaps. The Ironwood Golf Course facility also features practice facilities including a putting green and chipping area.

A Gem
They had yellow fairways!!!
So cool. I actually got paired up with an old student of mine, not planned. Played the blue tees, it’s challenging for a hacker like me. Greens were smooth. Sand traps were not soft, actually harder than I would imagine they would be during a normal condition. Enjoyed this course very much.

Definitely not an executive course
I was suprised by the difficulty, variety of holes and overall quality of this course. I had an executive (per 3) course in my mind. This course is par 67, with several par 4s and 2 par 5s. A few of the par 4s are quite long and several of the par 3s are over 160 yards.
The members i played with were very accommodating and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed myself and their complany.
Course was PURE
Most well maintained course Ive played at in a while, fun course layout and great pace. Only 'weird' thing I will mention is they required me to share a golf cart with a guy who brought his own cart.
Fun course. Great value
Staff is professional and kind. Locals are cool with new golfers and welcoming. Even the restaurant was good.

Great place to play, well kept and good layout. Staff was very friendly. Only downside was no ice chest on the carts.
Great greens
Course was un excellent shape. Greens amazing and very challenging. Dont expect much from amenities. No driving range, carts are below average, didn't have any cold water, score cards ready on cart for a phx summer day. No beverage carts around.
Golf bliss
The course was in awesome condition despite the frost. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Bunkers were no joke, they call them traps for a reason avoid at all costs. Great course definitely looking forward to another day at this private get away.
Fun layout
This is my first time playing here and I found it very enjoyable. Pace of play and moved along nicely in the layout is very fun for a short course of only about 5,500 from the blues. The greens were sanded about a week before I played so it was a little inconsistent putting but I would imagine once the greens heal it would be a joy to play there again.
Amazing course best one in Chandler by far. Amazing conditions for summer!
