About
Ironwood Golf Course is an 18-hole course with many challenging elements. There are water hazards that come into play on five holes and the holes that don't have water have strategically placed sand bunkers coming in to play. All of the greens are sloped and some are undulating as well. One interesting asset of the course is the extensive mounding; the unique and interesting placement can cause uneven lies. The course is tricky but there are three sets of tee boxes to adapt to a variety of abilities and handicaps. The Ironwood Golf Course facility also features practice facilities including a putting green and chipping area.

The course was in very nice shape for the time of year. It would have been nice to have an ice container on the cart. It would have been nice if the 4 seniors in front would have allowed this single to play through at hole 4 with 108 temps in the early afternoon!

Good value booked a hot deal. Course was in great shape for June in AZ.. would definitely book again.
Best Sunday
My friend and I are leaving in a co- living place we don't have a place to do anything except for a room a kitchen and a restroom. So being out in the golf course gave us a purpose to feel free and enjoy the paradise God has outside the house you leave. We enjoyed very much because we took our time since we didn't have anyone behind us. It work very well for both of us because we had not played for a while!

Great Course!
This was my first time on this course and I loved it! The fairways and greens are in great condition, it had a lot of par 3's and 4's with I think two par 5's. The staff were all very friendly from the check in to the bar! I will be coming back here!
One thing to note, take the entrance in on Alma School. The other entrances are closed off, on Alma School just tell the guard your there to hold and he lets you right in

Worth the price. Best shape I have seen it after winter. Everything was good.
Short but sweet
A great course to break 90 unfortunately we were not told or saw an advertisement that it was a shotgun start.
Greatly maintained course with fast pace
The course was beautifully maintained, greens, fairways, fringe and even rough were pristine. The pace of play was impresive, it was a shotgun with a few A and B foyrsomes and we finished in 3 hours and 25 minutes.

Unless your a member you get the cold shoulder from other golfers and staff.
Nice little course
Course was well kept and felt like a good value for the price! It is a little tucked away in an older community but good pace of play and had a fun time. No driving range so keep that in mind but would definitely play again!
Gem in the desert
Play here if: You want a low-stress, "executive-style" feel that still challenges your iron play and putting. It’s perfect for a morning round before the Arizona heat peaks.

They had yellow fairways!!!
So cool. I actually got paired up with an old student of mine, not planned. Played the blue tees, it’s challenging for a hacker like me. Greens were smooth. Sand traps were not soft, actually harder than I would imagine they would be during a normal condition. Enjoyed this course very much.
