Silverado Golf Course welcomes all skill levels of golfer, but more advanced players will find the course pleasant but perhaps not as challenging as they would like. Located next to a bike trail that runs through much of Scottsdale, the course provides excellent views. While playing, golfers can enjoy vistas of the surrounding desert landscape as well as the Camelback and Mummy Mountains. A notable hole is the par-3 18th hole, not only for the gorgeous backdrop provided by the mountains but also its difficulty level. From its elevated tee, golfers get a good visual of the hole including the water and strategically placed bunkers that surround it.

Good place to score low

Short from the tips, room to miss off the tee. Good course conditions, but not great. I did really enjoy it.

Course in AWFUL condition!

Oh man, what a disappointing review to have to write, but hopefully this saves others from wasting their money.

A few friends and I wanted to sneak in a quick round on Friday afternoon this week and decided to book a fairly affordable $80/person tee time. For that price, I don’t expect the world, but I at least want a course that is well-kempt, with fairways and greens that have been looked after properly and allow players to actually play. Unfortunately, you won’t get that at this course. You also won’t be able to actually warm up, as they don’t have a range, but instead just a small green for putting practice.

The greens are so fast that it feels like you’re putting on concrete, and the fairways are under-watered to the point that at least every other shot was being played from hardened clay with sprinkles of grass on top of it. It made it nearly impossible to hit clean irons, and forget about chipping - we actually started putting from 20 feet off the green because it least it gave us a chance.

I don’t mean to sound dramatic - I realize this isn’t a 5-star course and I should expect what I pay for - but it’s still super disappointing to waste $80. There are plenty of better courses if you’re looking to stay under or around $100/person and I’d recommend looking at one of those.

Easy course

Very easy course. Par 70 and it says 6300 from the tips, but many holes were listed 20+ yards longer than reality. Great pace of play. Course is in good condition. There’s no driving range to warm up, and the back 9 is unwalkable. There are four spots where the routing is only wide enough for one hole, so you have to drive past a hole. It would add a mile to the walk (and 20+ minutes just walking). A bit pricey for what it is. I doubt I’d play again.

Very nice course

We found this course very playable yet challenging. The greens would take some practice to learn but it was an enjoyable day. Pace of play at noon was exceptional. About three hours as a threesome. Fun time.

Old Standby

You have to play this fun gem of a course at least once or twice a year. It's a really fun layout. Not the most difficult course you can find but it definitely will challenge the average golfers. The greens right now are not holding but they're rolling fine. Bunkers in shape. Course is well maintained otherwise. They don't have a Driving Range but they have a chipping and putting area.

Solid day at Silverado

Interesting course. Good course for value. Funky layout especially back nine - space between holes. Great day - played in 4 hours but back was slower. No hassles course - go out and play.
