Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club

The golf course was great, I only have one complaint it’s bit pricey, with having to rent clubs and golf fees it was over 200

I engined the course. It was a pretty forgiving course but you still have to hit the ball straight.

Without my golf watch this course was tough to play because there were no visiible yardage markers. That would make the course better to play.

This course has an unusual layout, going over 1 mile from east to west. The fairways and even the rough were green and firm. Greens were cut short and rolled well.

I have reviewed this course multiple times in the past. The course is part of the Scottsdale Green Belt—a flood control system for the city. The course was in its usual good condition. Greens were moderately fast and consistent. Fairway grass was lush edge to edge. I cannot attribute this to the course at all, but I have seen more disputes and fights between groups on this course than anywhere else. It always seems to happen in the 12,13, 14 turn area. Maybe we need a marshal there to keep some order. Crazy. Grow up golfers and try give each other space.

I was fortunate to be added to a group of regulars who had a space for a single. Bob, Bill and Mike’s hospitality made for a very enjoyable round! Good company on a great course!

We played 4 courses and this was the best of the 4 courses played.

It’s a nice course and well maintained. Staff was helpful and friendly.

One of us left expensive sunglasses in our cart at the end of play and they were immediately returned to her.

Great course in town, pre of play could have been better, a foursome playing like Sunday at Augusta marshals did nothing we still finished in 4 hours could have been done in 1 hour less, also no cart girl till 14th hole, somebody should have mentioned this before we startef

The course has some holes in a residential area but the homes do not come into play. The pace of play was good even though we had to wait on a few holes which could be explained by a number of twosomes on the course. The sand traps were crusty and gravelly, with lots of stones. The rough was short and your ball would roll a good distance in both the fairway and rough. The staff was friendly.
