Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club
About
Silverado Golf Course welcomes all skill levels of golfer, but more advanced players will find the course pleasant but perhaps not as challenging as they would like. Located next to a bike trail that runs through much of Scottsdale, the course provides excellent views. While playing, golfers can enjoy vistas of the surrounding desert landscape as well as the Camelback and Mummy Mountains. A notable hole is the par-3 18th hole, not only for the gorgeous backdrop provided by the mountains but also its difficulty level. From its elevated tee, golfers get a good visual of the hole including the water and strategically placed bunkers that surround it.

Golfer Reviews
Silverado
Interesting layout. Long distance from green tinted box on some holes.
Five star experience
From the bag drop to check in to the bartenders to the cart girls, this place is great!! Great first time golfing here and I cannot wait to return. Five stars all around.
Enjoyable course to get out and play.
This was the first time playing this course and I had a great time playing. I was visiting Scottsdale for my birthday and wanted to get a round in while there. This course caught my eye because the reviews were pretty good, but the price was very reasonable compared to a lot of other courses nearby. The staff was very friendly, and the service was great. As I approached the shop a staff member rushed out to me in the parking lot to grab my bag and load up on cart while I went in to pay for my round. About 20 minutes before my tee time another staff member found me to direct me to the warmup net (there's no driving range) and explained the process leading up to tee off. The course was in really great shape, and the beverage cart came through a few times during the round which was also nice. At the end of the round, my clubs were cleaned and again, the staff were noticeably friendly and great service. They seemed to really care about my experience and want to take care of you. I would play here again and recommend my golf buddies to play next time they visit.
Love it
As far as I’m concerned it’s one of the best downtown Scottsdale golf courses. Wide open, lots of green fairways and very fast greens. They also have excellent fish and chips!
Great
Great course, great staff
Great Weekend Course
Great course for us Snowbirds who haven’t been golfing for a few months as it was very forgiving yet still fun and challenging.
Great bang for your buck
Greens were ROLLING! Par 70 course. Short course. I’m 7-8 handicap and long off the tee so I’d play the tips if you are similar. Some of the rye turf was a little thin but overall hard to end up with a bad lie in fairway or rough. Pace was standard, finished right at 4 hrs. Some tee boxes from previous green are a country mile away but just keep going, you’ll get there. No gps or even hole maps on tee placards
Decent Course
The greens were a little rough, but it was a decent course overall. The worst part about the round was the pace of play. I should have known it was bad when the foursome ahead of me checked in and planned to share one bag among four people. They ended up renting clubs, but that didn’t make them players. Two apparently didn’t have proper footwear so played barefoot. A ranger came by several times, but never did anything to address the slow play. The course was interesting enough that I would come back, but their inability to enforce a decent pace of play is troubling.
Great Value and Quality
Even though this is a public Golf Course, the layout, conditions, and staff are top-notch. The Golf Carts are a bit old and don’t have GPS but the course is extremely fun. Plays like a much more expensive course.
I would definitely come back and play it again.
First time playing the course enjoyed it.
Really enjoyed the course got off at sunrise. It was a good shape. Greens were quick. Fairways were nice pace. Play was good. It was everything you want the golf round Paul the starter was first class. Thank you so much Paul. Let me know the way of the land really enjoyed it.
Good Sunday Round
Played an around on Sunday after Thanksgiving. Course was well maintained not overwatered. There are some patches where the rye grass is still coming in but the pace of play (3.5 hrs) and the staff made up for any concerns with on course maintenance.
Too many par 3’s
We played after a lot of rain, and the course was mud balls on every shot, The course was crammed into condos and houses so you have crazy long drives between holes. Greens were perfect, fairways generous, staff awesome. A bit pricey.
But that being said go play it.
Fun Day
Pace of play was awesome! Refreshing as some of the east valley courses pace has been insanely slow.
The course is in great condition. Greens are good and fast.
Watch out for the elevated 18th hole. I overshot into the water.
