Once you get they the security gate it’s worth the drive. Greens were in great shape and fast. Tees were a bit hard but overall great shape.

Wow . What a great layout out in the woods. Really quick ,hard greens .will go back!!

The golf course condition and service were all good, except that there were bad people reporting to the clubhouse that we were pudding on the 3rd hole and the team behind us made the ball to the green, but players who didn't say they were sorry couldn't even follow us and reported to the clubhouse for a throw play.

Great layout..fairways were good but not great.

Greens were smooth and just the right speed.

Would go back and play without hesitation.

Only issue was the person behind the counter.

Wow!!! I have played over 2500 rounds of golf in my life and never have I met someone at a pro shop who just didn't really want to be there as much as this fellow.

It was actually impressive how little he really cared about making an effort to be pleasant.

That said I really enjoyed the course and the price was good.

Fairways are dry, normal due to lack of rain and a recent freeze. Some tee boxes are so crusty you can't get a tee in the ground. Greens putt true but were slower than normal. It's a good place to play.

Course was ok. Greens plush and in good shape. Generous landing zones off the tee I thought. Fairways and rough in decent shape given the time of year. I'd play again if back in the area.

Layout good; few houses on course a positve…fairways not overseeded a big negative…like hitting off bare ground. Better off playing out of the rough. Greens HUGE…so fortunately could avoid the occasional bad spots on some…

Course needs work in terms of bare fairways and greens not up to par with its history.

Our group plays Hernando at least once per winter. The layout is quite nice and fair. The conditions suffer as there is a clear lack of funds available to overseed and grow more grass. It’s too bad the home owning community won’t consider the value to their properties by allocating a few dollars in their HOA to maintain the course. It could be much better.

I will say, although the clubhouse isn’t real fancy, the food was quite good and the service was as well. The bartender was super efficient and friendly to us..

We will play it again at the right price and hope eventually they can find a way to bring it up to the conditions the layout deserves.

Played for the first time 2/11/2022. Pace of play was reasonable. Course conditions were fine, some greens had patches of white sand but never really came into play. I would recommend to anyone who wants an enjoyable 18 holes of golf.
