Silverthorn Country Club

I noticed lately the fairways have been getting nicer, probably because of the rain.

The greens are in nice condition, little slow.

I wish they had more early morning tee times.

I had a good round course in good shape and it appears they are trying correct problem areas.

I always enjoy playing Silverthorne and the course is in pretty good shape.

Tee boxes had grass.

Grass on fairways.

Greens all grass.

What more can you ask for.

Fun course with some good holes. Well protected greens will challenge your approach. Course was in overall good shape. Some rough weed patches in a couple fairways but grass was grown in good. Only issue we had was length of the grass on tees and especially greens. The greens were in excellent shape grass wise. They were just way too long. Way. Super slow. Grass was long enough it took some subtle breaks out of the putt. Tees boxes were long. One was just bad altogether. But the rest were again nice and green, but not mowed. Don’t think the greens and tees had been mowed for at least two days. Maybe it’s a proper maintenance thing. I’m not a greenskeeper.

Things have improved on the greens, tee boxes, and traps. Fairways show promise.

I enjoy playing this course to refine my game. Challenging on some holes that make me think. Try to golf here at least once a week & it’s a joy everytime I do. It never gets old & couldn’t be more relaxing. Good job to the staff, in & out.

Greens in good shape but EXTREMELY slow.

Fairways somewhat spotty.

Great Value for the money.

Greens filling in after recent aeration. Sandy and slow. Fairways dry due to lack of rain. Traps are firm like fairways. Love the course, hopefully it gets some much needed rain.

I so enjoy this course & the staff are unbelievable making you feel welcome every time I show for a round.
