Sherman Hills Golf Club

Greens and fairways were in great shape for early spring.

I have been playing this course for years when visiting the area.

Drove up from Oldsmar because I like hilly courses, to play something new, and to get a good deal. Golfed with my son. Tee areas were a little bit weedy but overall a nice wide course with lots of elevation changes. Pace was 3:45 at 11:30am on a Sunday. I'd do it again. Staff was great!

Course is in excellent shape, especially the greens. Pace of play was great!

Haven't played this course in a few years and we enjoyed going back. Front nine not as challanging as the back nine. Greens were sometimes fast and sometimes slow, and seemingly always on a slope, making extra putts necessary. It's a fun course.

You can get out of most trouble spots once you find them. Play it a couple of times and you'll figure out how to avoid them.

I think its important to say we've had a very dry spring in Florida and most golf courses I've played recently have had dry and in some cases sparse Fairways. That being said some of the fairways at Sherman Hills probably need a little extra care. Overall the fairways were decent but a couple on the back nine were a little thin with inconsistent grass. The greens were unfair to good condition. The day we played there was no starter on number one tee. Some of the groups waiting to tee off were not patient enough to allow previous groups to either arrive at or clear the green before hitting. so the first two holes were a little jammed up. Pace of play improved after the third hole and it was a very enjoyable day. I found the price to be reasonable for winter / spring play. Overall it was a good day with some very challenging holes. This is not a resort caliber course by any means but if you're looking for an interesting golf course at a reasonable price Sherman Hills is a fair choice.

A few years ago the course was heading a little South.Now, it recovered nicely and will reach its peak soon. Congrats to staff and Greenskeeper. Will be definitely be in our rotation.

The course was in good condition. I would recommend playing here. Pace was good and the green are in good condition.

Delayed 20 minutes from scheduled tee-time to accommodate 4 extra golfers who wanted to join a group of 16 already booked No Marshall at starting tee, resulting in at least 1 group of 5, each taking 2 drives off opening tee!! 1st 9 brutally slow, decent pace (and nicer layout) on back 9. Greens in good shape, fairways decent, and most impressive (to me) was the apres-round selection of draft beer with chilled mugs at a decent price…. Overall good value.
