Sherman Hills Golf Club

Great layout especially the front 9. Same two greens have had problems for a couple years. Even after being completely redone last year. The spots should be marked as ground under repair. We took relief anyway. Couple other are cut small, not short, due to working on them. Rolled good, just small green area. Minor stuff to me. Still a great course to play.

This is the 3rd time I've played here. Fairways and tee boxes were in good condition. Greens on the front nine were also in good condition. There were 3 greens on the back 9 that had no green, just hard mud that was impossible to putt unless you had played the course recently and knew what to expect. This is not a difficult course for approach shots but the greens are very hilly and if you are hitting down you have to be delicate. My approach and pitching was fine but struggled on the downward putts. Some very wide farways nad elevated greens. One of my favorite things about Sherman Hills is that I play single and they always put me in with twosome's or threesomes. Have met some nice golfer at Sherman Hills. Nice people in the Pro Shop too.

Course needs a litter more care grass scares in places one bad green all rest in good condition over all a decent place to play

I absolutely loved the course! This is the perfect course for me. Super wide fairways and kinda fast greens. I love to crank my drives. The first time I played here I didn't miss one fairway and ended up shooting a 78. I HIGHLY recommend this course you will have a great time here!

I would have given it a 5star but 3 greens on the back 9 are not good at all

Visiting a friend we came here under recommendation from another golfer. Greens were fast, fairways were well maintained, and my overall experience was good. There are a few greens that have an issue with the grass, or lack of it on them. Pace of play was not good. there was a pair in front of us and one was getting lessons on the course. There was a slow foursome in front of them and a twosome in front of them, equally slow. For never playing the course before I stayed within my usual score for 18 holes, which was nice from not playing for almost 2 months (I live in West MI). I definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

The course was overall in good condition with nice grass in fairways and rough with most greens in good condition. A few bad greens on the back nine with little grass but overall best conditions I've seen in the area. A fun layout with a beast of an 18th hole.

The course was in great shape other than a couple greens on the back 9 that were being seeded. My brother and I tee'd off at 8 am and we didn't see anyone ahead or behind us the whole round.

Front nine was okay got stuck behind a foursome that didn’t know how to play but at the turn we was able to play though very nice course greens need a little work over all we had a great round

Back nine greens are a little rough in areas but still very playable and enjoyable.
