I Recommend This Course
Reasonable, but some current maintenance issues
The course was a pretty fun layout with lots of elevation change and grading. Very little trouble with water only on a couple holes, although the back nine was more in the trees. They weren't busy mid-week, so our round was extremely fast. They were having some maintenance issues on the back, with 3-4 greens almost lost. On the rest of the course, the greens and fairways were pretty good. The roughs were a little sandy or weedy in spots. Not a great course, but I'd consider it again.

Amazing course layout
Driving down the interstate to Sarasota and noticed a hole running along side the interstate. Looked it up on Google and was just amazed at the price. Booked a round for the trip back. Was total impressed with course. Lots of elevation change and fairways with twists and turns. It was challenging but fun. This is a MUST play course if you’re in the area. I will definitely play Sherman Hills again

Front 9 is in great shape. Back 9 is rough in spots. 3 of the greens are in bad shape dead spots, bare spots, little grass. good finishing hole.

Guys it would be nice to be able to go inside for a beer. We teed off around 11:00 and after our round wanted a beer and some food but all closed up, it’s the only course we play that this happens.

Sherman Hills is always in fine condition.....large smooth greens with wide manicured fairways.....not too much water or sand hazards to contend with.....well worth the hour drive from the Port Richey area.

Nice course.
The course is in good shape but the pace of play could be better. I would recommend a starter. Weekends are extremely busy in the current season. I like the course and will play many more times. The guy in the pro shop is very accommodating and entertaining.
