Fun course layout
Outside of Orlando and Tampa, Sherman Hills is a well-laid out, fun neighborhood course. Overall the course to me was probably in about an 8/10. Front 9 was fairly easy, back nine a little bit more difficult. Time on course was good for a 12pm or so tee time, couple of groups let me play through as a single, then paired up with a couple and played the rest. This is a good value course, with some nice course details that set it apart-not just a flat, up and down layout.

Sherman Hills is always in fine condition....nice wide fairways and smooth, fast greens.....not too much water or sand hazards to catch that errant shot...a really nice course...worth the hours trip from Port Richey.

bang for the buck
Love this course, every year we start creeping around it during the winter when everyone else's rates skyrocket. This course is in great shape, definitely cared for in great detail. The greens are in amazing shape but man they are tough, really a great challenge for the short game experts out there. For the long hitter this place is open and ready for some bombs. Always friendly staff and free candy this week (charms pops too none of that dum dum garbage)...
