Nice Course!
Really nice course! Nice carts (very comfortable seats, GPS, etc). Fairways in great shape! Greens recently aerated, so didn't roll perfect, but still good. Pace of play was great. Some really fun water holes. Overall, a really nice course!

Sadly, a terrible course
Such a fun layout. Very nice club house and practice area. Yet I hate this course. The greens are decent, but for the price range they are disappointing. The fairways are nice, but they hold water worse than most other courses in the area.

Nice course for the price
Cadillac golf carts that are well kept! Bathrooms are clean. The staff was accommodating and friendly. It wasn’t crowded. The only reason I gave a 4 was because the greens had just been aerated which made an impact on the short game.

A MUST
This is a beautiful Track with well thought out golf holes. Thanks to Marty in the pro shop who was amazing to deal with. We were fyling into the area and were late for our tee time and he was so accommodating to get us out. Cant wait to go back and play this beauty again.

Early April
Due to cooler than usual temperatures the course hadn't fully started to come out of winter conditions. The exception--the greens. They were in excellent condition and putted true.

Serious letdown
I had been told this track was a "must play" in the Atlanta area. The layout is exactly what you would expect, contour and routing reflecting some of Jack's best work. But the conditions were poor at best.
The range stalls were more mortar shell damage than usable. The fairways were strewn with divots that were OLD and not overseeded. The greens reminded me of a 15 year olds complexion rather than a supple surface indicative of an over $100 investment.
I've played 4 other tracks this trip in the Atlanta area with fees from $50-90 and they eclipsed Bear's Best to a degree which should disgrace them. If they were charging $40 I would have been disappointed. But at their price point I would recommend Top Golf, Putt-Putt or a frontal lobotomy before going here.

Entire staff was rude
From the time I called to ask questions about the course the day before, to the pro shop staff, to the cart assignment. Every person was beyond rude and frankly disrespectful. Will never understand why places like this misunderstand the customer and supplier relationship. Needless to say I will likely never go back. Totally unacceptable at any price point.

Hidden Surprise
This course has a great layout. I would not recommend this course any time soon. The course is in very bad shape..There is almost none to little grass on the tee boxes.The course doesn't drain well at all. So if it has RAINED with in a week of playing. IT WILL BE CART PATH ONLY. SOMETHINGS SHOULD BE MENTIONED BEFORE YOU BOOK..
